Volunteers Needed! The Fort Worth Marathon, a Boston Marathon Qualifying Event, is finally here and they need help to make this the best event yet! This year’s race will go above and beyond all previous expectations for the over 700 race participants. At the races’ start there will even be a Congressman and a Senator!

WHO: 4 themed water stations (at least 6-8 enthusiastic people at each station). Each school can get a water stations (first 4 schools to respond yes will get it.) WHAT: Volunteers will theme their water station and try to make it the most memorable for runners (they’ll vote on their favorite water station after they run). Volunteers can dress up; the crazier, the better! The winners get a $500 prize! WHEN/WHERE: Sunday, November 13th, 2011 from 6:15AM until 2PM LaGrave Field (Cat’s Stadium) 400 North Main Street Fort Worth, TX 76102 WHY: Proceeds go back to local schools in the Fort Worth school system to promote health and exercise, to help promote childhood obesity awareness. If your school wins, you can also choose to donate part of the winnings to the Divisional Well for Charity: Water this year if you want. This is a great water project to get involved with!
