I believe that life is a continual learning curve in line with the Fibonacci sequential formula where by every progress is the sum of the previous two. I subsequently thrive in situations that test my mind.

Health City This project was accomplished during the last year of Bachelor as part of optional workshop. It suggests reorganization of Expo area into new Health City of Milan. The entire building is divided in three thematic blocks, where specific medical activities take place, and one “slab with all the fundamental functions of hospital. The concept of healing gardens is also represented in Health City project with green expanse and ponds surrounding the construction.

Mobile Healthcare The project was developed during the research for Bachelor’s thesis. The background is based on submitting a functional scheme, that can be replied anywhere. The project targets countries with underdeveloped healthcare systems. These countries, because of their big dimensions, are not able to provide an unvarying medical care in every place, even though in some cases there are no economic problems. The project requests a launch of mobile hospital, basically made of containers for transporting goods, but that are also able to provide both basic and more complex healthcare services.

Wien Museum Neu The project proposal comes from the brief of the contest for Wien Museum enlargement. The contextually matched to other parts of complex new construction is connected to the existing building with one public hallway and another service corridor in the basement. It perfectly corresponds to typical architectural Viennese style with light colored stones recall. The apertures were generally reduced to minimum, but the remaining ones are positioned in the best way for visitors to take advantage from natural illumination and also to enjoy the view of square, where the museum is situated.

Expo Dubai 2020: German Pavilion The project was born out of the work team desire to expose their vision on German spirit in an architectural way. The main part of pavilion is represented by big portals that recall typical harbor cranes as after EXPO the structure is ideally supposed to be transported to port of Hamburg. The portals may apparently look messy, but in reality they symbolize common decorations of different German houses facades. The inner part of the pavilion was designed to avoid closed spaces and thanks to the suspended slabs visitors have the possibility to appreciate the structural complicity of the construction.

Sports + Reforming Milan The project has the same name as a competition in which I participated with three other colleagues: Banfi Chiara, Benedetti Elena, Filidei Luca. The objective was presented in a brief “Ri-Formare Milano and is based on the requalification of one of the areas of Milan by designing a sport facility. In this case, the project area is situated in a former location for military trainings, close to important sport facilities as San Siro stadium and racecourse. The huge park with different aquatic centers, race track for cyclo-cross and cycle lane around are the key points of the project.

Snap House The project was developed in collaboration with Marta Pirola during the Master thesis editing. It originates from international competition “What Design Can Do 2016 Refugee Challenge” announced by IKEA Foundation and UNHCR. The project’s development starts from the study of a basic module, that depending on the number of people can be modified in order to obtain different house configurations. Refugees can customize their house units by adding or subtracting a module in order to adapt it to their specific necessities.
