FLAT BUILDING NEAR TO VISTULA RIVER The main problem of this project was mixing old, monumental architecture with the new one. A plot lies in the historical part of Cracow – Kazimierz, in close neighbourhood of Vistula. It was really important to join new architecture with nature. On the plot we could find two tenement houses. They designated parameters of new buildings: height and module. As a result four new buildings were designed with different functions and typologies of flats, as well as an underground car park.

SCHOOL OF MUSIC WITH CONCERT HALL The plot lies in close neighbourhood of the main, tourist street in Zakopane – Krupówki. The other side of the plot is close to an outgoing road to Cracow. The eastern part of the plot has an educational function. The road to music school is safer from this side. The western part of the plot has a cultural function – there is a concert hall. On this side, the vehicle access into the plot is more comfortable. New designed architecture has mixed modern architecture with traditional, local style.

THE SHOPPING MALL This project was one of quick ones. It is a public utility – a shopping centre. It lies in theoretical location. Grey, concrete block, closed from three sides, opens to the main city square and we have the main access here. The eastern part has an economic access and outgoing road as well. In this part of the building merchandises are delivered. Because of the lack of green elements on the main square, the shopping center offers the green interior.

1ST FLOOR FOOTBRIDGE The task was to join two parts of the city. They were shared with railroad tracks. In the project unused tracks were eliminated, and the others were hidden under the ground. I suggested a footbridge, which joined shared parts and created new public spaces on the first floor. SAFE CROSSING OVER THE STREET

THE FARM This project consisted of two parts. The first one fixed the whole country system and regulated the functional space. The second part designed the farm homestead. On the farm we had a multigenerational house, a barn for 60 sheep. New architecture should suit to archetype of this country. I suggested the wood as the main material of these buildings. LEGEND 1.

AIR LIQUID FACTORY The main problem of this project was to create an administration unit, which could be built next to any kind of factory, without big changes. It should be universal. I suggested irregular form because it’s easier to adapt. In this project it was necessary to reorganize the factory in order to offer functionality and possibility of further expansion.

CINEMA CENTER IN RUINS The main foundation was the respect for old baroque ruins of orangery. Every parameters of new object were taken from orangery ruins: height, dimension of the plan, and the moved module. New form closed the most interesting part of the ruins inside. The arcade wall was the gate between a big, representative foyer and cinema halls.

CINEMA CENTER IN RUINS In addition to the big foyer in the new glass form there are also two cinema halls, a restaurant, a magazine and two workshop rooms. Concrete and glass were used as the main materials in this project. They should contrast with an old, brick wall. The back wall of the Cinema Centre is not open to a park. To attract people walking in the park, the theme of arcade wall appears at the back, south wall.
