If a fault occurs, the display reads out an error message identifying it (es. E 10):

Resetting errors

To RESET the gas boiler, push button “R” for at least 2 seconds. If the fault persists, call an authorized service centre. Note: It is possible to carry out n° 5 relighting attempts in a row, after which the RESET function is disabled and the gas boiler still blocked. To carry out a new RESET attempt, the boiler need to be put in OFF position for at least 2 seconds.

This function remains active for 3 minutes. It is possible to interrupt the “INFO” function in advance by holding down the button ( i ) for at least 5 seconds, or turning off the power to the boiler.

ďƒ˜ Gas Valve HONEYWELL VK4105G

The gas valve Honeywell VK4105G has the characteristic to use one of the two safety coils to effect the gas pressure modulation on the burner. On the gas valve there is not the modulator assembled on the pressure regulator as in the Honeywell VK4105M gas valve

 Solutions for every demand of heating • The boiler’s PCB can easily be set for the operation of the boiler in traditional heating systems 80/60°C (radiators) or in low temperature systems 45/30°C (under-floor heating systems); changing only one parameter (F06) on the control panel. • In case of mixed heating systems (high and low temperature), a special controller is available as optional (code KFG714079611): it includes also the external sensor for the automatic regulation of the heating flow water temperature. This appliance is only 160 mm deep and it can be installed both built-in and wall hung. It includes: - pump for the high temperature zone, - pump and mixing valve for the low temperature zone, - PCB that controls the full system (diagnostics). Its main functions are: pump post-circulation; anti-blocking function both for pump and mixing valve; anti-frost system, protection against overheating. Moreover, it is possible to connect a second pump for the high temperature zone.


EXAMPLE OF INTEGRATION WITH A SOLAR SYSTEM

ďƒ˜ Connection to solar system Thanks to a special kit developed by Baxi (including diverter valve and termostatic mixing valve) installed before the boiler, the water coming from the solar tank will pass through the boiler only when the water temperature is lower than the setpoint (e.g. 48°C). The boiler will heat the water to the selected temperature. ALTERNATIVE SOLUTION Thanks to the advanced electronics of MAINFOUR, we can have a simplier solution without the diverter valve before the boiler. The water will always pass through the boiler but the boiler will switch on only when the temperature of the water is lower than what is required.
