This dramatic biographical film was based on the true story of a lawyer and social activist Shahid Azmi who was murdered in his office by some gunmen. Director Hansal Mehta brought this movie. Rajkumar Yadav as Shahid Azmi gave a remarkable performance.

The Lunchbox

The lunchbox is a simple tale of love which blossoms through an ordinary lunchbox. It was highly appreciated at national and international levels.

Ship of Theseus

It was a thought provoking and unique film of the year which got recognition at several national and international film festivals. The film explores the various aspects of life by the three sub-stories of the film which includes the questions of justice, identity, meaning, beauty , and death.


Lootera It is one of those films that was blasted at the box office but was highly acclaimed by the critics. The movie was a literary take on O Henry's piece - The Last Leaf. The lead pair Sonakshi Sinha and Ranveer Singh gave excellent performances while Sonakshi surprised everybody with her well-matured act.

D-Day

Director Nikhil Advani, after presenting a series of flops, came back with a stunning well-executed spying thriller in the form of D-Day. The movie was about with the mission carrying back the most desired man in India from Pakistan.
