Dear Friend: Hi my name is Dr. Albert Snow. I am a Naturopath with 30 years of experience using natural medicine to successfully treat Inflammatory Bowel Disease, which includes conditions like IBS, Colitis, Crohn's Disease, Diverticulitis and Leaky Gut Syndrome. In addition to the physical symptoms of these diseases, you may also be suffering from psychological and emotional frustration, even anger and/or depression. These effects often accompany the physical condition because you don't know exactly what's going on and how you will be able to heal - and resume your normal life. I have great news – you can get your life back when you have IBD! Here’s the issue that is holding you back: You need to understand that conventional medicine only treats your symptoms, not the causes. We need to get to the root of the problem. Gastrointestinal issues are degenerative in nature - you need to rebuild the affected tissue using natural medicine, which is something conventional medicine cannot do. IBS, Colitis, Crohn's Disease, Leaky Gut Syndrome - these are all conditions of degeneration where the tissue has wasted away. But it can be rebuilt, using natural substances which the tissue is actually made of. Doing so brings about a cure that is permanent. All of my patients see improvement in the first 30 days. 95% of my patients are healed in three months. My method leads to permanent improvement. The short tips in this guide will give you additional insight into my philosophies and treatment protocols. To your health!

IBS Treatment: IBS is Not an Auto-Immune Disease
IBS treatment should not be centered on treating an auto-immune disease. IBS, as well as Crohn's disease, leaky gut syndrome, and colitis are not auto-immune diseases. The associated symptoms that people experience with these disorders are a reaction of the immune system, but it is not the cause. Symptoms such as abdominal pain, diarrhea and the presence of blood and mucous in the stool has its root cause in another area. Although you may be diagnosed with irritable bowel syndrome, a doctor will typically not be able to explain its cause to you. The truth is that this condition is easily explained. It is simply the digestive juices eating away the lining in your colon. The cause of the lining becoming weaker is most often antibiotic medication. Once a hole develops, undigested material slips through the hole and enters your blood stream. At this point, your immune system kicks in and attacks the food particle as an invader in the blood. It is the immune system that acts in a way that produces the symptoms associated with

a condition such as IBS or Crohn's disease. The root cause however, is not the immune system, but the lining in the intestines. When you visit a doctor, he will recognize that the immune system is causing the problem but may not recognize what is triggering the immune system's response. This may lead to improper treatment with medication designed to suppress the immune system instead of treating the problem of deterioration of the intestinal lining. The result for a patient in this situation is that the problem will get worse, not better. If the damage to the lining gets to the point where it is life-threatening, your doctor will recommend surgery to remove portions of the intestine. This surgery can be avoided, if only a doctor would provide a proper diagnosis from the beginning. Treatment should center on saving the lining of the colon before it becomes too late for anything but surgery. Once you know the cause, IBS treatment becomes much easier and effective. The key to getting this treatment is to seek an alternative option, like a second opinion from a naturopathic doctor who does not make a diagnosis based upon conventional medical approaches. This type of doctor will be able to understand your problem. They diagnose from a different perspective and are always dedicated to the Hippocratic Oath that puts the patient first with a dedication to doing no harm.

A second opinion should make sense. When a doctor prescribes medication to suppress your immune system and this leads to a worse condition, it stands to reason that the treatment is not working or there has been a misdiagnosis. Always ask questions about your condition and insist on getting answers. In conclusion, IBS is not an auto-immune disorder of any kind. There is no reason to allow your body to deteriorate from this condition. The reasons for your symptoms are understood by naturopathic doctors. You can reverse the course of this disorder and start to get better. It is only a matter of seeking out and using the services of a doctor that understands how to proscribe an effective IBS treatment plan.
