Have you ever been interested in watercolours? Then Parks and Recreation has a course for you. Parks and Rec is offering a beginners watercolour class. The class runs from Jan. 31 to March 20, and is being taught on Tuesday afternoons from 1:30-3:30 p.m. The cost is $55. Call 250-723-2181 for more info.

Check out musician Chris Ronald’s CD release this weekend. The event is being held at Char’s Landing on Argyle Street. Doors open at 6 p.m. Tix: $15 general and $12 for seniors. Kids 12 and under admitted for free.
