This hands-on approach to learning is a critical component in developing the skills required for professional work in sound production and performance.

For those students more interested in music technology, The Sanctuary allows them to gain real-world experience by working with professional sound engineers on concerts, from setting up equipment to running the sound system for live shows.

Students in the Music Academy are divided into two (2) classes, each class completing the modules and projects across a wide range of music disciplines. Freshman and sophomore students are paired together and junior and senior students are paired together. Once students begin Grade 11, they may choose their specialization for their capstone project.
