INSTRUCTO R S RICHARD ‘RICH’ E VAT T Rich Evatt is The Sanctuary’s Technical Manager and Audio Engineer with over fifteen years of experience in the music industry and education sector. He is a former Music Technology Skills Instructor / Demonstrator for Coventry University and The University of Westminster. With an honors degree in Music Composition and Professional Practice, Rich is a certified instructor for Pro-Tools 11 and a highly experienced technical

ROMEL SHEARER Native Bahamian Romel Shearer received a full tuition grant in music to study under the internationally acclaimed cellist Dr. Jesus CastroBalbi at Texas Christian University. In addition to teaching violin, viola, and cello privately in the Bahamas, Shearer has performed as a guest soloist and orchestral cellist with many music ensembles including the San Angelo Symphony, Irving Symphony Orchestra and Bahamas National Youth Orchestra. He enjoys performing, recording and collaborating with other performing artists across all musical genres, from classical tradition to contemporary.

ADRIAN D ’A G U I L A R A graduate of The Musicians Institute in California, Adrian D’Aguilar has been working as a professional bassist for over 20 years, performing across the U.S. and the Caribbean. Returning to Nassau in 2006, Adrian has become a notable figure in The Bahamas music scene as both a performer and recording studio owner. Adrian founded The Jazz Cats, a youth jazz band offering an opportunity for talented local Bahamian musicians to develop and showcase their musical abilities.
