Dear Albany Members and Guests: We are pleased to invite you to the Eighth Annual Albany Invitational to be held October 31 - November 4, 2018 at Albany in The Bahamas. This three-day tournament delivers exciting rounds of competitive golf and special events. On Wednesday, there will be a practice round with an optional skins game. On Wednesday evening during the welcome dinner, players may enter the team calcutta and participate in the night golf competition. Round one of the tournament will begin on Thursday, November 1, followed by lunch and beach events at Azul beach. At the conclusion of round two, the Albany Invitational Team Skills Challenge will take place at the Short Game Facility and Driving Range. The final round will be on Saturday, November 3, culminating with the awards ceremony and the crowning of the Eighth Albany Invitational Champion. Albany offers something for everyone, including adult and family pools, fine dining experiences, a world-class spa, a full-service fitness complex and tennis facilities, water sports programs, equestrian activities and a variety of retail shops. We are looking forward to hosting you and your guests later this year at one of the four Albany major golf tournaments.

Teams of four (men or women) are required. Must have complete team of four to enter. Teams may include one professional. Handicap certificate is required (a maximum 17.5 handicap index). Club professionals play at a +2 handicap and TOUR professionals play at a +6 handicap. Nearest to the Pin prizes are awarded each day. Longest Drive prizes are awarded each day. The Albany Invitational winner will be determined based on the team’s threeday cumulative score. *Breakfast and lunch are served as part of the Invitational package. All other dining is an additional charge.

A shared Club Villa will accommodate three individuals or three couples occupying three of the bedrooms, with the fourth bedroom available as a spare room. A shared Beachfront Villa will accommodate two individuals or two couples occupying two of the bedrooms, with two additional smaller rooms available as spare rooms. LOCAL RULES 1. Out-of-bounds indicated by white stakes or boundary fence. Lateral Hazards – Red Stakes 2. A ball coming to rest in any waste area can be played as it lies, and a player may ground their club without penalty. Alternatively, a player may incur a one-shot penalty and take lateral relief two club lengths from the nearest closely mown area not nearer the hole. The ball must be found in the waste area. 3. Sand bunkers are enclosed by turf and played as a hazard. A break in the turf denotes a waste bunker where a player’s club may be

grounded. The bunkers to the right of the 5th green, right of the 9th green, and left of the 18th green are bunkers and a player’s club may not be grounded. 4. Irrigation boxes, sprinkler heads, drain gates, and paved cart paths are immovable obstructions, and free relief may be taken one club length not nearer the hole under Rule 24-2. 5. Stones in bunkers and waste areas are movable obstructions.

T E R M S & C O N D I T I O N S TO U R N A M E N T R E G U L AT I O N S All questions and issues relating to handicaps will be addressed and finalized at the discretion of the Director of Golf.

BOOKING POLICY Full completion and the return of the booking form via confirmed email creates a legal agreement between the Guest and Albany. No booking is secured without payment of the initial deposit, which shall be 30% of the total amount. Depending on demand and availability, it is at the discretion of Albany to allow the package to remain available to the Guest(s) beyond any verbal or written instructions previously communicated if the booking form is not received in time.

C A N C E L L AT I O N P O L I C Y The 30% deposit is non-refundable. In order to avoid compulsory payment of the balance, all cancellations must be received via confirmed email at least 60 days prior to the event. If Albany receives notice of cancellation after this time, full payment will be deducted from the Guest’s credit card, regardless of attendance or non-attendance at the event. If an event is cancelled for reasons beyond the control of Albany, including insufficient participation to make the event viable, all funds remitted will be refunded in full.

PAY M E N T The Guest shall make payment to Albany through wire transfer or by credit card. If payment is made by wire transfer, the Guest will also be required to provide Albany with a credit card to be kept on file. Unless otherwise instructed by the Guest, the credit card on file will only be used in the instance of late cancellation by the Guest. As noted above, 30% of the total funds are due upon completion of the booking form; 70% of the total funds are due 60 days prior to the event. It will be assumed that the Guest will pay the cost related to the selected package and will be liable for all costs and cancellations. The same principle applies to any additional charges that are incurred for services not included in the package. Payment is non-transferable to other events.

L AT E O R N O N - PAY M E N T If Albany is unable to obtain funds due in accordance with the payment schedule, Albany reserves the right to cancel the booking with no refund of the deposit or other funds already paid.

INSURANCE Albany recommends all Guests have comprehensive travel, luggage, health, and accident insurance. Albany is not liable for loss, damage or theft of luggage, or personal belongings, for personal injury, accident, or illness during the event.

PHOTOGRAPHY Albany reserves the right to take photographs and video footage during the event and retains the rights for use.
