JUPITER Jupiter is the fifth planet from the Sun and the largest planet within the Solar System. Jupiter is composed primarily of gaseous and liquid matter. The density is lower than any of the four terrestrial planets. Jupiter's mass is 2.5 times that of all the other

planets in our Solar System combined. The clouds are located in the tropopause and are arranged into bands of different latitudes, known as tropical regions. The cloud layer is only about 50 km deep, and consists of at least two decks of clouds: a thick lower deck and a thin clearer region.

Galileo mission So far the only spacecraft to orbit Jupiter is the Galileo orbiter, which went into orbit around Jupiter on December 7, 1995. It orbited the planet for over seven years.

Observation Jupiter is usually the fourth brightest object in the sky (after the Sun, the Moon and Venus);[46] at times Mars appears brighter than Jupiter. Depending on Jupiter's position with respect to the Earth. Earth overtakes Jupiter every 398.9 days as it orbits the Sun, a duration called the synodic period.

Mythology The planet Jupiter has been known since ancient times. It is visible to the naked eye in the night sky and can occasionally be seen in the daytime when the sun is low.

MY IMAGINARY PLANET: OMENNI The name of my imaginary planet is Ormenni. This planet is far from the Sun,that is very cold. The gravity is 73%.The planet takes 2 years to orbit the sun.The atmosphere is gaseous. My planet looks like one tree. There are 13 moons orbiting the planet , 5 moons are grey , 7 moons are orange and one moon is black.Agustin Fernandez discovered the planet and 13 moons. This planet hasn’t got ring. You can go to the planet , because there is oxygen. In Ormenni girls do artistic gymnastic and boys do hockey.

Ormenni loks like one tree

CONDITIONS FOR LIFE Water Liquid water is the first conditions for life. The temperature must be warm.

Meteorogical Features

The atmosphere and the ozone layer contribute to sof ten the temperatures.Life would not be possible under ver y extreme meteorogical conditions such us strong winds, violent storms or ver y severe volcano eruptions.

Atmosphere

The atmosphere abd the ozone layer protects us from solar harmful rays.It likes greenhouse.

Gravity

Earth's suitable gravity contributes to keep the atmosphere and the liquid water in the oceans.

Isaac Newton

THE GREENHOUSE EFFECT The greenhouse ef fect is a natural process that keeps the Earth at a temperature that is suitable for life. The problem is that the greenhouse ef fect is getting stronger. The Sun has been radiating energy for billions of years .Some of this radiation passes through the atmosphere. This has the ef fect of warming the atmosphere and the ground. Some of this radiation is absorbed and reflected by clouds and the greenhouse ef fect and other gases in the atmosphere. This process of warming of the atmosphere, par ticularly the troposphere part of it,is called the greenhouse ef fect. The "greenhouse ef fect" of the atmosphere is named by analogy to greenhouses which get warmer in sunlight, but the mechanism by which the atmosphere retains heat is dif ferent.Solar radiation at the frequencies of visible light largely passes through the atmosphere to warm the planetar y sur face. The existence of the greenhouse ef fect was argued for by Joshep Fourier in 1824.

LAIKA Laika (November 3, 1957) was a Sovietic space dog that became the first he Ear th as well as the first animal to die in orbit. As little was known about the impact of spaceflight on living creatures at the time of Laika's mission, and the technology to de-orbit had not yet been developed, there was no expectation of Laika's sur vival . Sputnik 2 . The planners settled on an orbital flight with a dog. Soviet rocket engineers had long intended a canine orbit before attempting human spaceflight; since 1951 , they had lof ted 12 dogs into sub-orbital space on ballistic flights, working gradually toward an orbital mission possibly some time in 1958. Training The Soviet Union and United States had previously sent animals only on flights.Three

dogs were trained for the Sputnik 2 flight, and Laika. Soviet space-life scientist selected and trained Laika.

CONCLUSION 1-I think that Jupiter is one impor tant planet, because has the name of one of the most impor tant gods greek's. 2-I think that we have to follow helping our body. 3-I think that we have to down the greenhouse ef fect, that may be that the Ear th can be created in a place unbearable. 4-I think that in the future we are going to have most problems in the Ear th. 5-I think that in the future people are going to be more intelligent and they can go to an other planet.

6-I think that people in the future are going to look af ter the Ear th.
