Dynamics, positive energy and solidarity are the values that are symbolized by the logo. It presents Poland as a modern and young at heart country that initiates positive changes in Europe. Jerzy Janiszewski is the author of the logo – he is also the author of the worldwide known logo of “Solidarność”, that became a historical symbol of Polish way to freedom and democratic changes in the east side of the world.

About Poland Modern, original and very functional Poland guidebook. It helps understand foreigners the country and the Poles, and discover the most interesting locations recommended by public personas and culture animators in an attractive and easy way. It presents a coherent, clear and current review of the most important economic and cultural areas of Poland in 8 chapters. Modern craft workshop and I, Culture Orchestra.  Polish projects prepared by Adam Mickiewicz Institute in co-operation with Polish and foreign partners, will be presented in the best galleries and clubs, at the best stages and festivals: Bozar, La Monnaie in Brussels, National Theater, Whitechapel Galery, London Jazz Festival in London, Martin Gropius Bau in Berlin, Teatro Real in Madrid. www.culture.pl  Numerous cultural projects of Polish Institutes in 22 European cities and the USA, and several hundred projects concerning public and cultural diplomacy, realized by over 100 Polish diplomatic agencies on every continent.

Polish Cuisine Polish presidency is a great occasion to promote Polish cuisine. One of the most renowned Polish cuisine masters, Adam Chrząstowski, is the supervisor of the creation of an excellent menu with Polish dishes based on local products, prepared for high level meetings in Poland and Brussels. Foreign delegations and journalists visiting Poland during the presidency will additionally receive a packet of recipes for Polish dishes. The recipes are modernly set up by 16 chefs, 3 foreigners among them, who work daily in the best Polish restaurants. The starting point of each recipe is a product associated commonly with Polish cuisine (e.g. herring, cucumber, groats, poppy seeds, venison). Each recipe is preceded by a description of the product that is illegible for a foreigner. It also includes the product’s cultural context. The publication is enhanced by modern illustrations.
