Q:Is it special to you playing against Alcorn State, a school from which both of your parents are graduates? A:It is pretty special, it is not very often that you get compete against a team that has so many ties to your family.

Q:Being a hometown guy, who has seen FedExPark go through major renovations, what is your favorite feature of the park? A:The overall appearance and pride that goes into caring for the park. (Coordinator of Athletic Facilities) Jason Smith does an amazing job.

Q:Did you ever wonder what colors your parents would don this weekend? A:I don’t think so. They always support me in every way possible, so I knew that they would show up representing the U of M. Of course, they still have a little Brave in them.

Q:What words best describe Coordinator of Athletic Facilities, Jason Smith? A:Meticulous, passionate and intelligent.

Q:Who is the best dresser on the team? A:That definitely has to be me. (Laughs) I just don’t really see anyone rivaling me right now.

Q:Who is the most superstitious player on the team? A:Drew Martinez for sure. He has a thing going on with wearing gloves right now.

Q:So, who is the worst dresser on the team? A:T.J. Rich. (Laughs) He just has so many influences. He’s got this whole Jamacian, Georgia country steel-toed boots thing going on.

Q:Is there any correlation between Drew hitting well and him not wearing gloves? A:No, absolutely not. It’s all in his head.

Q:Who has the most “swagger” on the squad? A:I’ll give it to the young guy, Ethan Gross. He’s got this whole Cali surfer thing going on. It works.
