ONE-ON-ONE WITH WILSON

SQUEEZE PLAY Q:What is your favorite baseball cap of all-time? A:Military Appreciation Camo Tiger caps. Q:Who is the best teammate to room with while on the road? A:Chad Zurcher. He just lays back and reads baseball articles all day. Q:What is it about Chad Zurcher that makes such him a successful hitter? A:I think it’s his composure and poise. He doesn’t get frustrated when he has a tough day. He just puts it behind him and moves forward. Q:What is it about third base position that fits you best? A:I love that the position is all about reaction. You just react and go.

Q:Recently there has been a debate over who is the “freshest” member of the team. In your opinion, who is your most stylish teammate? A:I would say Drew Martinez. He has to look good everywhere. He has got to be dressed-up everywhere he goes. He takes it to the next level, even for games. Gameday he has to have the eye black, the tape, the sleeve, all of the gear. Q:Speaking of gear, what is your favorite Tiger apparel? A:I really like the Nike Dri-Fit shirts, they are really comfortable. Q:How often do you and teammate Ford Wilson get mistaken for being relatives? A:Suprisingly enough, we rarely get that. At the beginning of the season, I thought people would ask us all of the time but no one has mistaken us as relatives yet.
