‘s voice is mezmerizing, her spoken word is thought-provoking. I heard her project her voice during this video and it echoed within me

for over a week. Her spirit is so full of life and her southernLouisiana-wisdom keeps you smiling and thinking. She is in short, a pleasure to behold.

If the person that knows you best were to describe you, what do YOU think that person would say about you? The person that knows me best would say that I am kind hearted and as Southern as I want to be.

Tell our audience something you’ve learned during your career that a person just starting out in music may not know? A new artist may not know that you have to find yourself first, before you can move anyone else. Your style is unique, particularly your beautiful bald head. Did your bald head evolve before you realized you had a different way of presenting yourself, or after? And tell us what if anything it means to you. My bald head was not my choice, God did it! I have alopicia, but will not allow it to define me or my beauty. God knows best.

What book would you want everyone who sees this to read and why?

“I know why the caged bird sings by Dr. Maya Angelou,

because it speaks to my spirit and inner child. It may help one understand me a bit better. What are the traits you possess that you feel will allow you to succeed and accomplish your goal? Fearlessness

is the best description of our shoot together, this determined, opinionated wonderful model was difficult for me to read hence the choice to treat the text of this piece

in a manner that visually reflects that vibe. We got back on track later because Adeaze is a consumate professional and I look forward to our next shoot.

I remember you telling me that you are African, Where are you and your family from originally? Compare and contrast your view of people here with people there? My father is from Nigeria. My mother is mixed (white/black) with roots from the South. People from Nigeria think differently than Black Americans. Honestly, I can’t quite put my finger on or understand what it is but it seems to create an intentional divide. If the person that knows you best were to describe you, what do YOU think that person would say about you? Hardworking, persistent and full of ambition. I think they would also title me as a “go-getter” because I have always went for my dreams. Fearlessly.

Tell our audience something you’ve learned during your career that a person just starting out in fineart modeling may not know? You really have to put in %110 to achieve the height of your potential. You have to genuinely be present in the moment, every moment. But you have to find a balance when it comes to art. Perfection is the enemy of art. So if you are striving for perfection - then you lose the organic beauty of what is being created.

What struggles in have you overcome strengthened you as

your life that has a person?

I was insecure growing up. It actually took me a very long time to fully embrace myself. It was hard but I did it. Growing up being called every hurtful name in the book was hell. And when you are not secure - your thoughts and doubts began to give energy to those things. But I love what I see in the mirror today because I was able to step outside of myself to grow. I had to reset myself and really examine myself for who I really was. And I came to realize that I’m beautiful!! And I love me!! What book would you want everyone who sees this to read and why Honestly, I would have to say The Bible. There are scriptures in there that have covered me in the roughest of times.

What are the traits you possess that you feel will allow you to succeed and accomplish your goal? My give

unwillingness to up. That simple.

Do you have quote resonates with or means a lot to In of

the amazing Mahatma

that you you? words Gandhi:

“Keep your thoughts positive because your thoughts become your words. Keep your words positive because your words become your behavior. Keep your behavior positive because your behavior becomes your habits. Keep your habits positive because your habits become your values. Keep your values positive because your values become your destiny.

Unique

in every aspect of his persona, this spoken-word artist represents two of the

most entrenched subcultures of chicago, Disco/Deep House lovers and Spoken-Word Artists.

Your style is singularly unique, did it evolve before you realized you had a different way of presenting yourself, or after? My style has been mine pretty much since I was able 2 start choosing/ buying clothes 4 myself back N high school. It’s definitely influenced

by house music culture but as I’ve evolved, it’s evolved and continually evolving, influenced by the sights I’ve seen around the world, necessity and my own imagination. I like 2 think of it as “relatively” unlimited; those limits being skinny jeans and anything pink

If the person that knows you best were to describe you, what do YOU think that person would say about you? Passionate about life and intelligently nuts, I suppose. ha! What I’d really want 2 hear is what that person who doesn’t know me so well (but may think they do) would say.

Tell our audience something you’ve learned during your career that a person just starting out in --------- may not know? Things happen when they happen. We can influence the outcome 2 a degree but everything happens N its own time. Just B prepared, B selfreliant and self-motivating. Whether people R cheering U on or tearing U down just keep moving 4ward & stay open 2 the process!

s t r u g g l e s

in your life have you overcome that has strengthened you as a person?

I was a sickly child, veritably used as a guinea pig 4 asthma medications under the guise of medical care. My parents thankfully had the wherewithal 2 pull me out against the doctors’ orders and try alternative healthcare. That began my exposure and interest N2 natural cures, care and lifestyle. That’s changed and continues 2 benefit my life and those I’m able 2 assist with my still growing knowledge. I love that! The other part is setting out on this career path with no real template 2 work from and learning 2 make it happen no matter what, with and without help. I’ve learned the importance of learning who U R, valuing who U R and staying true 2 yourself. The help comes but it’s shaped by who U truly R and how well U master that. It’s been a long road 4 me but I’m definitely a stronger, more evolved being 4 the journey.

those behaviors and begin the healing and rebirth as an honorable, respected people.

What book would you want everyone who sees this to read and why? hmm... I’d ask EVERYONE 2 check out “Post Traumatic Slavery Syndrome” by Dr. Joyce DeGruy, mainly 4 her research disproving the artificial and oppressively divisive concept of race. It’s something that has been allowed 2 dis-empower people 4 2 long that everyone needs 2 recognize as a lie and move beyond. She also does a great job of getting people of color 2 gain a greater comprehension of our own issues as a people so that we can address

What are the traits you possess that you feel will allow you to succeed and accomplish your goal? Again, as I mentioned, it’s about knowing (not believing) who U R, valuing that, and staying true 2 that. One must always stay focused yet open as well, 2 learning new things or changes N one’s path. As I embrace those things more, the more success and opportunities come 2 me.

Do you have quote that resonates with you or means a lot to you? Ha!

“If it feels good, do it! Keeps me smiling!

What project are you currently working on? I’ve got all these production initiatives N mind 2 get produced but I really need a willing, competent and industrious team 2 assist me N making that happen; agent, PR, sponsorship facilitator, grant writers, etc... That’s 1 of the things I’m N NYC attracting. Chicago, from what I’ve experienced, has the arts on lock but the business industry 2 support those arts is severely lacking. Even those who want 2 work on the business side don’t have the larger connections 2 make massive success happen. I’ve

gotta have it so here I am, away from what’s familiar, 2 build what I want/need. My priority is 2 get our band, “the Rockstar Poetry Project” on tour immediately. We’ve got a heat that needs 2 warm this world! I was also recently installed as the new Chairman of The Association for the Advancement of Creative Musicians (AACM) which is the oldest Black music organization still going. I’m working 2 use my position 2 help create the many business components that we R missing as artists in Chicago. I’ve got my work cut out 4 me!

Accept who that person is, accept who U R and accept who U all R 4 one another. If those aspects aren’t working 4 either of U, whether it’s a temporary fling or a lifetime thing, let it go and gracefully move on.

If I told you could affect the totality of Black male female relationships, but you could only offer one piece of advice, what would your advice be? Easy. Acceptance. Accept who that person is, accept who U R and accept who U all R 4 one another. If those aspects Rn’t working 4 either of U, whether it’s a temporary fling or a lifetime thing, let it go and gracefully move on. People waste

2 much time and the time of others trying 2 make someone B who they BELIEVE they could B. That’s not fair and time is the 1 thing U can give someone that U never can get back. Knowing someone is evolving and open 2 assistance N that evolution is 1 thing. Trying 2 shape/change them is completely different and criminal. Acceptance makes everything else a lot more simple.

If the person that knows you best were to describe you, what do YOU think that person would say about you? People that know me best would describe me as passionate, down to earth, giving and motivating. What is your definition of Glam? Glam is anything that is bold, reflective, colorful and lavish.

What do you think is the difference between a women that chooses a natural style versus a women that chooses a glam style? I think the difference in mentality of a natural woman versus a glam woman is simply a connection with the earth. Women who return to being natural and decide to wear stones and things made of natural substances have a deeper spiritual connection with the earth and to their roots as a human being. That isn’t to say that they are more spiritual than those women who like the glam style.

Tell our audience something you’ve learned during your career that a person just starting out in blogging may not know? The main thing I’ve learned is that you must be persistent daily because the brand eventually gains followers and they hang on your every word. What struggles in your life have you overcome that has strengthened you as a person? I have overcome social anxiety, depression and low self esteem. Growing up, i was overdeveloped and taller than most in my grade level. I had braces and glasses and wasn’t allowed to express my personal fashion sense because of how much older I appeared than my actual age. going through being talked about because I

didn’t have name brand clothes and feeling awkward around my peers lead me to wan You have an extremely successful blog that talks openly and candidly about sex and relationships. Tell us why you do it and what’s most satisfying part about it? I blog about sex, sexual health and relationships to help people become aware of the mistakes they make and to help guide them to better choices for healthier and richer sex lives and relationships. I also blog to raise awareness about sexual health and to sexually active individuals avoid the health risks associated with intercourse. It’s very satisfying for me when people from across the globe write me for advice and then tell me how their lives have been enhanced because of my willingness to help.

the traits you possess that you feel will allow you to succeed and accomplish your goal? I am ambitious and persistent...i don’t let anything stop me from going after what I want. I am also open minded and open to what life has to bring me, so when things don’t go the way I envisioned them going, I just flow with the changes and make them work for me.

What book would you want everyone who sees this to read and why ?

“The Alchemist” by Paulo Coelho because it gives such a profound look into life and into how the universe works. I was given a pdf version of the book and it changed my life. It helped me to begin thinking on a more conscious level and open up to listening to my inner voice and paying attention to the omens God sends us in the physical as guides towards our destiny. If I told you could affect the totality of Black male female relationships, but you could only offer one piece of advice, what would your advice be? I would suggest that black women Become more open to compromise… black women are failing in relationships currently because of their unwillingness to open up to new ideas within relationships. They have become boxed in because of religion and the opinions of their mothers, aunts and the female mentors, and are now unwilling to compromise for the sake of their partner’s comfort or happiness. Compromise doesn’t mean losing oneself but rather allowing new ideas and practices to be brought into the relationship.

Are you a Daddy’s Girl? What does your father think of your GlamErotica Blog and the sexual nature of not only it, but also of your modeling portfolio? I love my dad and we do have a close relationship. As far as his opinion about my blogging and what I do with my life, he doesn’t have any opinions. All he wants is for me to live my life and be safe while doing it. He is proud of my accomplishments as a writer and my persistence even in the face of adversity.

What have you found to be the biggest misconceptions people have of you? People assume because I’m attractive that I’m not intelligent and that I’m shallow. They look at my photos and assume that I’m all beauty and superficial, but when they speak to me they observe how articulate and deep I am and are always pleasantly surprised.

Do you have quote that resonates with you or means a lot to you? “It’s not about what you’ve done, it’s about what you’re doing” “what’s life if you’re not living” “Teamwork makes the dream work” What are you working on? I am currently working on building my glamerotica101. com brand, deepening my acting career and touching more lives.
