GEORGE SCHEPAK Russian Technical Translator/Biocybernetics Researcher Mr. Schepak has had wide experience both as a translator and as an aerospace systems engineer, and has additionally been very active in parapsychological research. He has translated Russian scientific articles in parapsychology with emphasis in the fields of medicine, physics, geo-magnetism, botany and zoology. Mr. Schepak was born and educated in Russia. He has also studied in Russian schools in Germany. Mr. Schepak has been an engineer with several California aerospce firms. He has designed solid state general purpose, computers and worked on ground support equipment for inertial components. He participated in the DISCOVERER, MIDAS, SAMOS, VOYAGER and APOLLO space programs. Mr. Schepak is now participating in a research program headed by Dr. Barbara Brown, Chief of Experiential Psychology at Sepulveda Veterans Administration Hospital, in which he is investigating the physiological aspects of healing using EEG's, EKG's and other physiological measurements. Mr. Schepak has been an active member of the California Society for Psychical Research since 1962 and Director of Research for that organization since 1969. He is also a member of the Biofeedback Society and does advanced research in this area. Mr. Schepak holds a B.S. in Engineering from UCLA, and a LL.B. from the Blackstone School of Law. In addition he has studied in cybernetics, the behavioral sciences, biological feedback and parapsychology. Mr. Schepak has been a naturalized citizen of the United States since March 1955 and has held a Defense contractor security clearance.
