PROJECT BRIEF: To redefine the wine tasting experience to cater to a refined, sophisticated, Indian society through a cultural amalgamation of its rich past and wine tasting global standards. product: WINE BOTTLE SCOPE The project is an exploration on the bottle proportions. This project was intended to bring out an air of sophistication and beauty in the bottle form.

INSPIRATION:

URVASHI - the nymph Ur means heart and bash means to control, hence Urvashi is the name of the woman who conquers the heart. According to the etymology of the poet Ramdhari singh ‘Dinkar’, Urvashi means a lady who evokes utter desire in men. The legends say that King Pururavas and Urvashi fell in love. There are many legends about the birth of Urvashi.The following one is the most prevalent one. Once the revered sages Nara-Narayana was meditating in the holy shrine of Batrinath situated in the Himalayas. Indra the king of Gods did not want the sage to aquire divine powers through meditation and send two apsaras to distract him. The sage struck his thigh and created a woman so beautiful that Indra’s apsaras were left matchless. She was Urvashi the nymph.


1:1 PROTOTYPE MATERIAL: TERRACOTTA The bottle form was made on the pottery wheel to figure out the exact shape and to find out whether the ergonomic factors are right.

FINAL FORM

Inspired by the Indian apsaras, URVASHI, the form speaks of elegance, creating an impression of the Indian beauty idealized.

Ergonomically ideal. Increased grip and comfort


Form explorations to fine tune the graphic elements to be printed on the bottle. The graphic on the bottle will enhance and curves, increasing the aesthetics of the bottle.

SCULPTURE 16*12 INCHES The developed blue print was used as a guideline to sculpt the form.The sculpture was 3D scanned to obtain the cloud data. The piece is rapid protyped after final refining and rescaling (10*10 cm). This piece will be use as the master piece for the casting of the souvenir

HYPNOTIC LAMP This lamp was made of a project in which i created a meditative environment. The shadows produced by the lamp spread over a circular space ,rotating slowly giving a hypnotic experiance to the viewers.

PACKAGING DESIGN: PREFUMED OIL

Brief: To design a bottle, packaging, and branding for the highly unexplored perfumed oil sector. KEY WORDS: ELEGAND DELICATE Note: The form of the bottle was inspired and refined out of the grace and elegance of a dew drop.


SPRUCE IS THE IMAGINARY BRAND FOR WHICH THE PERFUME BOTTLE AND THE PACKAGE WAS MADE FOR.

THE FOOLISH LION AND THE CLEVER RABBIT

The story is scripted on a palm leaf, the kind of medium which we used to have in India before paper. The 3D visualization of the story is made out of trracotta.The combination of the mediums evokes nosalgia about our rich past that panchathantra embodies in itself.


PRODUCT :PRAYER ACCESSORY The product is an art work cum lighting cum container for chandan , kumkum , bhabhut. The krishna artwork on the product is inspired by indian kitch style. There are five stands provided for diyas. The containers are detachable so that it can be cleaned and refilled conveniently.
