Greetings from the OC Welcome AIESECer, Congratulations on registering for the Western Regional Conference 2018! We are honoured to be hosting you at the first ever Spring WRC. You have just joined a group of delegates from across Western Canada and will soon be in Edmonton for one of the highlights of your AIESEC journey. In a few days, you’ll be having the experience of a lifetime, making long-lasting connections, and learning invaluable skills. From February 16 to 18, 150 AIESECers will come together from British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba to attend WRC 2018. This conference will focus on your personal and professional development, as well as furthering your functional knowledge to assist you in your AIESEC journey. By attending, you will be exposed to a fast-paced learning environment, packed with self-discovery, team experiences, mentoring, virtual spaces, seminars, and learning circles. As you leave the conference, we hope you will be well-equipped with the skills to take on new challenges within AIESEC and other aspects of your life. Venue : how to get there Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites Edmonton Airport - Conference Centre 1100 4 St, Nisku, AB T9E 8E2, ALBERTA

Airport Shuttle: Free airport shuttle Go to arrivals door 9 and there is a house phone there to call the hotel and dispatch the shuttle to come get you. The shuttle also comes on a regular basis in the morning and leaves the hotel every 30 minutes normally.

Parking: Free parking at hotel.

Note: The executive lounge breakout room is located on the 5th floor

Delegates are not permitted to use hotel amenities such as pool & fitness center.


CODE OF CONDUCT ALCOHOL POLICY The legal drinking age in Alberta is 18 years old. Alcohol must only be consumed inside your hotel rooms. Any liquor seen in any public areas, including but not limited to: the plenary room, breakout rooms, hallways, stairs, elevators, and public washrooms, will be confiscated with consequences to follow.

FOOD POLICY Any consumption of food purchased outside the hotel is strictly prohibited as per *Holiday Inn* policy. Should you wish to do so, please eat in your hotel rooms.

HOTEL ROOM SERVICE Delegates who wish to order from room service and place long distance calls from their room phones, the delegate responsible shall be held liable for any costs incurred from such services.

Mother's creation


Mother’s Creations was formed by mostly widowed mothers located in Kasaana, a remote village in Uganda. After struggling with poverty and sometimes sleeping on an empty stomach, they formed this group to face life in a positive way. They produce fine handmade beads from paper and magazines; transforming them into unique bracelets. Each bracelet will be on sale for $3.00, and all proceeds will be given back to the women's group in Uganda.
