THE GLOBAL GOALS FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT COULD ACCOMPLISH THIS MISSION. IN ALL COUNTRIES. FOR ALL PEOPLE. AIESEC’S GLOBAL VOLUNTEER PROJECTS ARE DESIGNED TO SUPPORT THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS.

THE GIVING MAN

Aim Thailand has a wide fluctuation in Education Quality. "The Giving Man" Project aims to bridge the 
 gap between learning of children in high quality schools and lower quality schools. It brings foreign volunteers around the world to be "The Giving Man" for those children who are disadvantaged.

description To renovate, rebuild or redecorate the facilities of the schools under this project and also create short lessons for disadvantaged children in lower quality schools, giving them a chance to study with a foreign teacher.

GANTARI

Gantari, meaning “radiate” in one of our traditional languages, seeks to improve health standards 
 in Indonesia. Through directly interacting with people with non-contagious illness and sharing their 
 stories, we aim to improve their emotional well being and reduce the stigma towards illnesses in 
 society. Facilitating activities will be run to the local communities to educate and encourage them 
 towards taking up active healthy lifestyles. You will participate in and facilitate positive spaces (e.g. games) for the people with a non-communicable illness (cerebral palsy, cancer, AIDs/HIV etc). You will fundraise funds for the children to cover the basic needs and purchase items to increase the emotional well being of the children. Execute an activity to local communities on awareness of the illness to reduce the negative stigma of the illness. Deliver activities to local communities about the prevention of general illnesses. Participation a cultural immersion + showcasing event and exploration event. Documenting your experience through an activity of the EP’s choice to reflect on your learnings

SEXPRESS is a sex education project run by AIESEC in NEU with the aim to provide knowledge,

 SEXPRESS winter 2016 will be focused on women’s rights to empower young women. Through 3 workshops and 1 self-protection class, interns educate, share, and support the students the ideas/knowledge about women’s rights and women’s roles in societies.

We aim at providing thoughts, giving children a better environment to learn about different 
 cultures and caring about people in these communities. 
 The children in the community are mostly from underprivileged families. Grab your chance to get along with the kids in Taiwan and give them a chance to meet someone from other countries and learn English. Design English programmes: prepare extra English classes after school, design English games and special activities, being an assistant teacher in the class from the community college. 
 Prepare easy classes about your language to the kids in the community.
 Visit local elderly: take care of the elderly and help them do the basic health checkup.
 Design and paint walls in the community to make the view look more colourful .

Aim Issue: Entrepreneurship (Cultural Institutions)
 To provide opportunities at cultural institutions located in Budapest.

description During the program, the participants assist organisations in the area of marketing, graphic design, foreign relations or they help in promotion and service activities to reach and satisfy a wider audience. There are many different kinds of institutions under this project, from museums to ruin pubs - it is hands-down the most diverse in this regard, also including photography.

This project is the solution for a Polish social problem that small kids do not have opportunities to 
 interact with other cultures of the world and there is the lack of the attitudes of being open, 
 tolerant and curious. The aim of this project is to arouse in Young Polish kids of all social backgrounds, the curiosity and dedication to other cultures, allowing them to be "Citizens of the World" from their earliest years.

description The Global Volunteer will teach children a foreign language, basic information about other cultures, share characteristics about other countries, songs and organise events for children and their parents (kids will perform scenes in English showing different traditions) etc.

Aim Poland is in the top 10 countries in Europe with the highest level of unemployment among young 
 people. This project aims to educate people on how to build a career plan through workshops on which young people increase the awareness of their skills and are encouraged to develop themselves.

description This project helps young people on finding their own passion, strengths and weaknesses. Thus will result in choosing the right major of studies and activities for them to grow. The Global Volunteer will be tasked to come up with workshop plans and presentations. He/She will help with the implementation of the workshops.
