EVENT HIGHLIGHTS OPENING CEREMONY Gathering 150 local and internaConal young minds, we got the ball rolling with our disCnguished guests from the government, business sector, social ventures and other supporCng organizaCons. The opening ceremony featured keynote speeches from Mr. Bernard Chan and Ms. Jenny Chow, that brought our students home with the significance of a global mindset and how acCons speak louder than words.

YouthSpeak has set a valuable and effecCve pla`orm for youth to network and seek synergy. This not only brings in innovaCon and stronger network of acCve youth, but also a space of creaCon of soluCons and a sow of seeds that grow firmly as future leader to society.

Jenny Chow

Advisor and Counsel of United Nations Social Impact Fund

YOUTHSPEAK FORUM While there are heated debates among the potenCal Hong Kong leaders in society, we must not neglect to place our vision with global horizon. The YouthSpeak Forum drilled into the topic, “Why Global Leaders Macer to Pioneer Sustainable Development Goals in Hong Kong”, and took our future leaders a big step to the local youth leadership development with global insights.

We have had frui`ul exchanges in this year’s YouthSpeak Forum 2017. With concerted efforts, we could collaborate to achieve a vibrant and sustainable Hong Kong together. The power of your voice will certainly shape the future of this great city that we call our home.

Caspar Tsui

Political Assistant to Secretary for Home Affairs Bureau

YOUTH NETWORKING SPACE Thanks to the support of our honourable partners, experienced leaders from different business corporaCons were at the Lunch to share with our students their parCcular stories on a face-to-face basis. Through mutual communicaCons across the generaCons and sectors, youth were inspired by vivid and treasured experiences from the bests.

Aeer speaking with AIESECers in Youth Speak Forum and Winter NaConal Conference, we are delighted the vision that we share is aligned. We look forward to our future collaboraCon, spread the message, encourage more students to become a global ciCzen and experience the different culture through volunteering and internship aboard.

CEO & Co-founder of UFinance

SDG Workshops & Fair: Global Goals for Hong Kong While the Sustainable Development Goals have long been ringing around our ears, how exactly the youth can act on those global objecCves? The SDG workshops and fair were where teenagers had pinned down their ways to act on the SDGs on an individual basis. Through cross-disciplinary interacCons with leaders who have been working on the SDG projects, youth were able to gain insights from taking the pracCcal acCons to help Hong Kong leap forward.
