Message from AIESEC About AIESEC What is Youth to Sustainability Summit Overview of 2012-2014 About Youth Summit 2015 Collaboration Opportunities Why AIESEC Contact Us Appendix c

Message from AIESEC In the past 66 years, AIESEC has been facilitating youths leadership development by providing self-defined and practical learning experiences. We believe developing youths as the responsible and entrepreneurial global leaders is of paramount importance to our society. Noticing the characterisics of being innovative, hard-working and entrepreneurial, Hong Kong youths undeniably play a crucial role in the sustainable development of the society. Therefore, we initiated Youth to Sustainability Summit in Hong Kong. We wish to engage young people in inspiring conversations with professionals and intergrate every single piece of ideas from them, to not only discover their leadership potentials but also to amplify their voice in the society. Yet, alone we can do so little - to bring the vision for youth empowerment and sustainable development a step further from only a fantasy, we need support from all of you as an individual, an institution, an organization or as a corporate. In alliance, we change the future of the society by the youth of today. I’m looking forward to seeing you in Youth to Sustainability Summit 2015. Best Regards,

Ryo Enda President AIESEC in Hong Kong Session 2014-2015

To enable delegates to understand their possible learning in the Summit, and get to know their strengths and weakness to create the possible positive impacts in the society.

These are skill-set workshops to assist delegates in planning and drafting their solutions, such as qualitative measurements, thinking model and design models.

Youth Impact Forum

Inviting external youthful speakers to share their personal experiences acting as societal leaders on bringing positive impacts and sustainability to society.

After the 3-day educational and inspirational sessions and workshops, delegates will present their ideas in an open exhibition and receive feedback from the general public.

Discussion Topics

Hong Kong has been developing world class green technology and architecture in the city. Yet surprisingly, we are a slow adaptor of a greener lifestyle which small changes in our habits can create a strong impact to the environmental sustainability. What are the challenges we are facing and what are the long term solutions?

Being one of the most densely populated cities in the world, Hong Kong is a city of diversity. While our economy flies, are people with different ethnicity, sexual orientation or background given a fair opportunity to grow and contribute?

From the good old Cantonese culture to 1980s, Hong Kong once was the production hub of music and movies of the Chinese communities around the world. Where are we now towards a cullturally sustainable environment to inspire creativity and cultural development in the city?
