3. Lisa Weihser (Germany) - Teacher “First of all, I need to mention that my entire stay in Spain was just an amazing experience full of excitement and challenges. When I arrived in Barcelona I was immediately cheerfully welcomed, which gave me the feeling that I definitely made the right decision in going through this experience with AIESEC. After I arrived in English Summer in Poblet, the destination where I was going to spend the upcoming six weeks as a German and English teacher, I met all my colleagues and quickly felt at home. The children in my German as well as in my English classes were adorable and definitely had a positive impact on my stay so that everyone was very sad when it was time to say goodbye again. Even though the teaching days when it came to lesson planning and exam preparation were at times fairly exhausting, the evening activities and parties organized by “los monitores” fully outweighed the rest. Overall, it was a very enriching experience which allowed me to develop myself in various ways and I will never forget the memories and the fun times I’ve had with my colleagues and the kids.”
