Coed • Four-Year • Specialized Health Sciences College Samuel Merritt University, founded in 1909 as a hospital school of nursing, is a fully accredited health sciences institution. In addition to the BSN degree, master’s degrees are offered in nursing, occupational therapy, and physician assistant studies. Doctoral degrees are offered in physical therapy, nursing, and podiatric medicine. A partnership nursing program for freshmen has been established with Saint Mary’s College of California, Holy Names University, Notre Dame de Namur, and Mills College. Admission Information
