WHO ARE GREENGEAR GLOBAL?
Greengear is a global initiative created by the Italian Cavagna Group – the world leader in technology and advanced solutions for gas control
Serving over 145 countries and over 60 million products manufactured each year HQ in Brescia, Italy.
Manufactured in Florence, Italy
Overall decrease in LPG consumption
Negative perception of LPG
Known only for ‘old-school’ domestic applications (cooking, BBQ, heating) The vision is to target small engine applications and displace traditional fuel types, increasing the LPG industry overall
Reactive instead of Proactive
THE MARKET ALREADY EXISTS! 12,5 Million Generators
PRODUCED PER YEAR
100 Million Small Engines
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS?
ECO FRIENDLY Environmentally friendly Fuel – less pollution
4 PHILOSOPHIES OF GREENGEAR
POWERFUL Full engine performance
CONVENIENT No messy spillages and easily connected
VERSATILE Cylinder utilisation
SO HOW DOES IT WORK?
ENERKIT: THE RIGHT CHOICE FOR SMALL ENGINES
The heart of Greengear equipment lies in the ENERKIT technology
Engineered in house with Italian designed high quality Two series depending on Engine size
LPG RETROFIT TRADITIONAL CONVERSION SYSTEMS
Dedicated ‘All in One’ solution for small engines
Requires additional brackets and space
No additional components needed
Many additional components needed
ENERKIT replaces the gasoline carburettor
Still requires the gasoline carburettor
Works in liquid or vapour phase
Compromises on performance
IS THERE AN EXISTING MARKET?
Partnership with Calor Gas Great Britain & Calor Ireland - UK’s largest suppliers of propane, currently servicing around 4 million homes and businesses. Largest LPG supplier in GB and Ireland Promoting generators, water pumps and pressure washers through their network Have an online shop and partner largely with the Nationwide Catering Association – who are supporting the catering industry around Great Britain.
One of the leading suppliers of LPG in cylinders and tanks in the Nordic countries Started with lawnmowers and now promoting generators through their network Focussed on environmental drivers and working with local governments and municipalities Promoting mainly the composite cylinder as a user friendly alternative
Agricultural Case Study
Agrofrost in Poland is using our LPG powered engines to run the fan in their frost prevention machines for vineyards and farming areas. Meaning sensitive ground, especially in wine regions such as Bordeaux, is not an issue with LPG. As there is therefore no chance of spillage or pollution, making a healthier crop/harvest. The whole machine is now running on LPG. The engine is powered by LPG and the frost protection burner is also powered by LPG cylinders. Therefore making running costs lower for Agrofrost due to one single fuel source and the overall added convenience.
For night frost protection in orchards for all kind of fruit, in vineyards, in greenhouses and plastic tunnels. To improve the fruit set in low temperature during blossom. To raise the temperature in plastic tunnels, to bring forward the first harvest date in the beginning of the season, or to pick later at the end of the season. Innovative new ideas using LPG Therefore making running costs lower for Agrofrost due to one single fuel source and the overall added convenience. Globally active company
