Culture center were placed in Fayoum city . The human soul needs to feed same as the body but need to feed with faith and knowledge. To make this soul satisfied with faith and knowledge it should be mixed with the earth soil to make the human feel comfortable and satisfied .

This building was meanly designed to be passive with nature elements like clay , mud and opining species .

Edutainment Center

Edutainment Center :

Edutainment Center : It’s the melting between the education (for all group of users ) and the entertainment through a lot of methods and we have two main methods. Technology method and physical method .

Or Represents a combination of education and entertainment, and often represents the elements of play, information technology, and learning. Some commercial games are marketed as having the potential to promote learning and therefore are branded as ‘edutainment’

Why Edutainment Center : •The city is hosted Ismailia International Festival each year.

•Because of the trend of the state to establish a new Ismailia city and the development of projects east of the Suez Canal so we chose the province of Ismailia to be a link between the provinces of the channel and the starting point for development projects.

1-Socially: The center would recollect the dispersed residents in a nearby organization.

2-Culturally: The project includes a Library for educational purposes.

3-Aesthetically: Ismailia is a historical place with a huge aesthetical value that must be paid attention to and taken advantage of, by creating activities and places to attract people to visit it.

Why merge entertainment with the cultural center?

So that we can create a link between different groups of young people, which helps to social and cultural interaction between Different generations.

Main goals •Adapting a new educational project with new teaching methods.

•Adapting a strong economic production line from the existing economic base.

•Providing job opportunities for the population.

•Providing stable employment and income to society.

•Reforming the incompatibilities between jobs and graduates - Establishing a sustainable project between the levels of Edo-Eco. •Improving the quality of life of society by meeting the needs of each target group.

•Introducing citizens to foreign cultures by presenting the world's art works through Cultural weeks for foreign communities and missions.

•Contributing to the payment of tourism in the country

SITE SELECTION

3sites had been sorting from all of Ismailia city and it had been found that sites would help our project to have one and unique culture entertainment center . So we start to looking at the water view of old Ismailia and we chose site 1. site 1 has a historical background of Ismailia and water view .

After that we start to look in the heart of city for easy accessible and easy to reach for all ages and we found site 2 . Site 2 located in the heart of Ismailia city which helps the community to reach it easily for all ages . At the last we also start to looking at a site has a educational group of users and we found site3 near to a lot of schools and Suez university . Site 3 located front of Suez university which it can help the students to have the most advantage from the project duo site 3 .

Also it’s good at land use sequence We can find educational, services and residential

Most of this area are residential area and the nearest services to us we can find it after 800m

It’s very good at land use we can find commercial, residential and mixed use near to our site sometimes less than 200m

As we can find at site1, there are a lot of urban solid and void, also we can notice the redial & linear settlements, there are not a lot of building and also the vegetarian & water views .

A lot of dispersed settlements near to the site2 Also the roads aren’t too many .

Compacted settlements, but we can find a lot of vegetarian elements .

The most height we can find near to our building like 70% from 0 to 5 and 30% < 15 floors.

Most height at this site is from 3 to 5 floor , except the football stadium .

A lot of random heights no copasetic criteria of heights .

90% of the buildings next to the site are in extremely good conditions .

There are a lot of different conditions at this site but most of the acceptable .

Very good accessibility to the site , we can reach our destination from two main streets and two local streets . The users age that can access to this site by walking are good but not that’s mush .

Also very strong accessibility but the difference will be with user because that site is located at the center of the city so anyone can reach it easily specially the kids and old people .

very bad location for those who doesn’t have a car ( there is problem there about the public transportations ) ,but it’s good for students to get there.

Conclusion: Site 1 has all sequence will be need it such us the land value , land use , contorting and the view, as we said before site 1 got all what we need to build our project this site can melt and break the ice between the culture and the entertainment .

Site1 located front of the Suez canal. This site has a lot of historical background ,a lot of museums near to it, also this site has a good water view and good services

Land Use

Most of buildings are located at the mid of city (3 radial squares). the buildings near to the SUEZ canal are public services (Ship department, ship guide building, etc...). 80% of buildings near to our site sorts as a residential building from 500m to each side of the site. at the mid of the city we will find a lot of mixed use, commercial, residential and religion constructions. Site1 got a lot of advantage with land use because we also can find 2 museums near to our site and heritage Settlements and the hotel front of us also can serve our project.

In this analysis if we start to isolate the settlements alone to look at the density of this settlement and how it will effect in our site.

This site hasnâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;t a lot of mixed use buildings , the mixed use building there itâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s also valuable because of the heritage buildings.

1-3 floors 3-5 floors <5 floors Buildings with 1 to 5 floors are sorting as a residential settlement. In the district most of residential settlements less than 5 and more the 3 floors . Buildings more than 5 floors it sorts as a commercial, mixed use or religious constructions all of those constructions (<5) are located at the city mid of the old city and we couldnâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;t find any building more than 5 floors away from the mid of the city except the services front of Suez Canal.

Zoning At this zoning the main entrance from the main street nemra seta with public parking .

Front of entrance plaza will be found to the out side show or for gathering and connections between people .

Kids area will be near to the plaza for the safety to make the parents secure their kids . The rule of plaza itâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s to connect the two main masses together Mass number 1 and mass number 2 .

Mass 1 will include the digital museum, theater and restaurant. Mass 2 will contain the online library , theater, kids area, and cinema.

Concept 1 How to melt between Culture & Entertainment ?

Our project is containing different types of entertainment & culture element, so I suggest you start using the natural factors like rocks, because rocks is so solid and hard just like the culture, it will start to melt with flexibility elect, like fabric glass. It will give us what we need at the entertainment part.

The main concept its a solid element ( Rock shape ) interacting with soft element (Glass) , if we melt this shapes together it will give us a great view and it can provide a lot of sustainability in the project .

This mass will contain the culture-entertainment elements.

The advantage goes to culture because the sharp edges on the mass

Concept 3 Prefabricated architecture With the green premise growing in popularity across the globe, more and more people are turning to recycling shipping containers as a way to reduce the extremely high surplus of empty shipping containers that are just waiting to become a home, office, apartment, school, dormitory, studio, emergency shelter, or anything else. The conversion of shipping containers to living spaces is not a new concept.

Inspiration Shipping containers have become a more common a architectural tool over the past few years.

Through clippings, insertion of external elements, coatings, and equipment, the container is adapted according to its future use and desired aesthetics.

Mega structure will holding the project and this structure will be pre-casted.
