All of the work featured was completed during a 5-month internship at New York’s Gotham Magazine, a luxury lifestyle publication featuring the very best that the City has to offer ranging from home dÊcor to fashion. Working closely with the industry leading Marketing and Events team, I successfully completed 10 company events ranging from client-specific to nationwide, multi-publication events.


Other Responsibilities: •  Established media partnerships with NYC and Hamptons charities •  Primary communicator between charity partners and Gotham •  Assisted with over 15 charity and media sponsorships in New York City and the Hamptons •  Entered creative requests for step & repeats, menus, programs, invites, etc •  Completed financial forms for all Hamptons and Gotham events •  Coordinated meetings between employees and outside parties for future events and partnerships •  Solidified details of two of the 2013 Hamptons Magazine summer events including the Hampton Classic Grand Prix and Hampton Classic Horse Show

REMY COINTREAU: MIX-OFF “The search for the next Ambassador of Libations”


Remy Cointreau: Mix-off

On September 24th, 2012, Gotham Magazine  hosted an evening of cocktail tas-ng and iron‐chef  compe--on as they searched for the 2013 Cannes  Film Fes-val Cointreau Ambassador of Liba-ons.  The evening event at New York hotspot W.i.P  featured eight talented mixologists from  prominent New York City bars, all hoping to win a  -cket to the Final Round compe--on on October  14th. The first half of the evening consisted of a  cocktail tas-ng followed by a 20‐minute iron‐chef  mix‐off compe--on where celebrity event planner  Kenny Davis, Elegant Affairs CEO Andrea Correale,  Cointreau Mixologist Kyle Ford, and Gotham  Publisher David Katz taste‐tested all of the  bartender’s cocktails before crowing the winner.  Other VIPs in a[endance that evening were  several Cointreau Team execu-ves, America’s  Next Top Model contestant Niki Pace, and ABC  Carpet Execu-ve Paul Chapman.

In celebra-on of the New York City Wine &  Food Fes-val, which benefits Share our  Strength and the Food Bank For New York  City, Gotham gathered friends and foodies  for an evening of sweet treats courtesy of  pastry chef Dominique Ansel on October  11th, 2012. To up the culinary ante,  mixologist Sean McClure created cocktail  pairings using Karlsson’s Gold Vodka that  complemented the chef’s exquiste  crea-ons. Other refreshments from the  sponsors that evening included Blue Moon,  Negra Modelo, and Captain Lawrence beers,  plus plenty of palate cleansing Acqua Panna  and Perrier. The event planning maestros at  Crea-ve Concepts NYC sent each guest  home with a goody bag and the latest issue  of Gotham’s magazine.  October 2012

Gotham’s Game Changers and Innovators: Men’s Event Honoring today’s most eligible bachelors and the contributions they are making in the New York City and surrounding communities 


Men’s Event

Gotham Magazine and tequila connoiseurs Maestro  Dobel paired with recently opened and trendy  meatpacking district restaurant Catch Roof to toast  to Manha[an’s most influen-al men and stars of the  October issue. Dubbed the “Game Changers and  Innovators” of their -me, on arrival, the men where  honored for their profound impact on the  community by high‐profile guests and New York’s  elite in a[endance that evening. Con-nuing the  celebra-on among New York’s elite, the exclusive  crowd enjoyed specialty Maestro cocktails and  offerings by Crown Imports while viewing the  luxurious luggage and accessory collec-ons on  display courtesy of Bric and S.T. Dupont. At the end  of the evening, guests received a goodie bag  compliments of Maestro Dobel and Crown Imports  and the coveted Men’s October Issue of Gotham  Magazine. Guests in a[endance for the evening  included several Maestro Dobel execu-ves, Catch  Roof owners Mark Birnbaum and Eugene Remm,  celebrity chef and restaurant owner Kristen  Sollenne , and many others.   November 2012

Gotham Magazine and Russian Standard Vodka Celebrates an Evening of Cocktails and Karaoke


Russian Standard Karaoke

On November 29th, Gotham Magazine and Mark  Baker celebrated an evening of cocktails and  karaoke at the sleek Midtown nightlife lounge  Jelsomino presented by Russian Standard Vodka.  Bringing together friends and fellow singing‐ enthusiasts, guests spent the evening savoring  custom cocktails and enjoying live performances  by the talented Broadway cast of the upcoming  show, Motown: The Musical. In between  performances, guests were invited to sign up to  sing their own songs and create an interac-ve  flipbook capturing the entertaining and upbeat  atmosphere of the event courtesy of Russian  Standard. At the end of the evening, Gotham  Publisher David Katz announced that a generous  dona-on was made on behalf of Russian Standard  for The Moving Theatre Company to benefit those  effected by Hurricane Sandy.
