Message from the Managing Director It’s certainly been a period filled with much anticipation and great expectation as we launch our new rejuvenated brand which aims to provide our guests, stakeholders and the industry with a new direction and greater benefits. In a rapidly evolving industry, where the consumer’s expectations of hospitality are constantly changing, we saw the opportunity to add innovation to the hotel experience aha Hotels & Lodges is all about the experience. Our goal is to re-imagine the world of hospitality by crafting immersive experiences that are unique, exciting and that give our guests something out of the ordinary to look forward to every time they visit our properties. Over the past year our portfolio has more than doubled, giving the consumer a better selection in both leisure and corporate and in both hotels and lodges. Currently we represent and operate over 40 properties in 9 destinations with over 2400 rooms. Our growth strategy encompasses both hotels and lodges within South Africa and sub Saharan Africa. As we continue to expand, we plan to grow our hotel footprint in both key and secondary locations and our and lodge portfolio in iconic destinations. In keeping with our brand promise, we are honoured that more than 20 properties have received a Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence award. I am truly proud to have so many properties in our portfolio earn this prestigious award for exceptional achievement as there is no greater seal of approval than being recognized by our customers. This accolade is a remarkable vote of confidence to our continued business success and commitment to service excellence.
