SMITH HALL – FRESHMEN MEN Home to 150 freshman men, Smith Hall is a great place to develop lifelong friendships and begin your time at CBU. Smith Hall is a three-story building with each floor divided into two smaller communities called wings. Each wing consists of approximately 14 doubleoccupancy rooms and a common bathroom. Tower Hall is a recently renovated living area that offers suite-style living for freshman students. Each wing in Tower Hall is separated by men and women and each room accommodates three residents, and they are fully furnished by the university. Tower Hall is conveniently located near the School of Nursing and School of Engineering buildings. Students also enjoy the close proximity to Brisco’s Café.


The COTTAGES – FRESHMEN CO-ED Housing approximately 200 residents, this co-ed (by building) living area provides freshman residents with an opportunity to live and study under one roof with 9 other students. With two to three residents per room, each Cottage has five bedrooms, three bathrooms, a kitchen/common area and a laundry room. Resident Director Sarah Welles

The Colony apartments are one of the largest living areas available oncampus. As a result the Colony is broken down into 3 areas; North, West, and East. The Colony offers an independent-living experience for transfer and continuing residential students (freshmen are not eligible). Colony apartments are fully furnished and accommodate three to four residents, depending on the size of the apartment. A thriving community of upperclassmen, The Colony has much to offer, including a pool and community area, outdoor basketball court and a community room. Colony residents will have many opportunities to get to know their neighbors through quality living area events and programs each semester.

The quaint surroundings of The Village apartments are a favorite for students who want to stay connected to campus while enjoying the benefits of a smaller community. Conveniently located close to classes as well as Brisco’s Café, Village apartments are available for transfer and continuing residential students (freshmen are not eligible). These fully furnished apartments offer a variety of room sizes for two to four residents, from one-person studio apartments to one and two-bedroom apartments. Each building is made up of several apartments centered around a small grass courtyard, perfect for relaxing with a book or studying with your neighbors.

The Lancer Arms apartments are a great location for transfer and continuing residential students (freshmen are not eligible). Lancer Arms is located near the brand New Recreation Center. These fully furnished apartments offer a variety of room sizes for two to four residents from one and twobedroom apartments. Each building is made up of several apartments centered around a large grass courtyard, perfect for studying and hanging out with your neighbors.

The University Place apartments are a favorite among upperclassmen residents. This coed (by building) living area is home to approximately 400 transfer and continuing residential students (freshmen are not eligible). UP is made up of a variety of apartment styles from one-person studio apartments to five-person townhomes. All apartments are fully furnished including refrigerators. Whether you’re studying in your apartment or hanging out around the BBQ with your neighbors, as a resident of UP you’ll be part of a great community full of opportunities to get involved on


– GLOBAL VILLAGE – Global Village is an intentional learning community for students who have a heart to learn from people around the world.
