“We made a pretty good team look bad, because of our pressure. Our press wears people down. Michigan probably had about 10-or-15 wide open looks and a lot of times, that defensive pressure wears on your legs. Our defense needs to be commended for how hard we play.” - Texas A&M Head Coach Gary Blair
Texas A&M 68, TCU 58
Event: Michigan Game, Reed Arena, Texas A&M University, 11/29/07
Junior Takia Starks poured in a season-high 23 points to lead Texas A&M to a 69-41 rout of Michigan at Reed Arena. Starks went 9-of-15 from the floor draining three of the team’s six three-pointers of the game. The A&M defense held the entire Wolverines lineup to under double-figure scoring and to a season-low 41 total points. On the road in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, A&M handed old Southwest Conference rival TCU its third loss in 26 home games at Daniel-Meyer Coliseum. The Aggies avenged a 69-65 first-round loss to the Lady Frogs in the 2006 NCAA Tournament.
