Event: NCAA Sweet 16, Ford Center, Oklahoma City, Okla., 3/30/08 Texas A&M made its second all-time NCAA Sweet Sixteen appearance next to the school’s 1994 postseason run under former head coach Lynn Hickey. The second-seeded Aggies went on to defeat the third-seeded Duke Blue Devils, 77-63, to reach their very first NCAA Elite Eight. With the victory, A&M also set a new school record for most victories in a single season (29).
