01.07.-31.12.2011 Dynamics, positive energy and solidarity are the values symbolised on the logo. It shows Poland as modern and young at heart country that initiates positive changes in Europe. The author of the logo is Jerzy Janiszewski - the author of world-known logo of "Solidarność" which became the historical symbol of Polish trail to freedom and democratic change in this part of the world.

The Cities of Presidency The most important meetings of the presidency are held in five cities of Poland. Polish presidency is a great opportunity for promotion of Polish Cuisine. One of the most values Polish chefs, Adam Chrząstowski, supervises creation of delicious menu from Polish dishes, based on home products, for the higher level mittings in Poland and in Brussels. Foreign delegations and journalists visiting Poland while presidency shall receive also package of recipes for Polish dishes, modern arranged by 16 chefs, foreigners included, who work on daily basis in the best polish restaurants. Starting point for all the recipes is the product commonly associatet with Polish cuisine (i.e. herring, cucumber, buckwheat,

poppy, game.) Each recipe is preceded by understandable for foreigners product description, including its cultural context. Publication is proceeded by modern illustrations.
