ABOUT Tasked with taking four companies, and their respective heritage, to create one brand was no easy challenge. Creating the Atla Group involved conceptualising a new name and brand inspired by Norse mythology. The name has been historically used to describe the characteristics of the sea and the symbolism of water, which has universal undertones of purity and cleanliness. On an Island where the sea and water dominate many parts of our lives, we used the characteristics of water – namely clarity and simplicity – to underpin the design of this brand and the various marketing collateral we created. The website showcases the various services the Group offers its clients, but it also features a look at the people who are at the heart of the Group, the history and their commitment to various CSR initiatives. Brought to life with serene ocean-based imagery and videos we were able to create a visually pleasing yet informative website that aims to delight users from start to finish. The simplicity, confidence and intrigue this brand exudes made it easy to successfully roll out the brand across all client touch points.

ABOUT ‘Simplicity is the ultimate form of sophistication’. Collaborating closely with the client we aimed to make the Reinhausen brand striking, premium and modern. Using a colour pallet of copper and slate grey combined with abstract illustrations, all the printed material and website ooze sophistication and a premium feel. The website aims were simple: educate the user, give confidence to prospective clients and partners, and capture leads. The continuous scroll one page website achieves all of this through clear and concise copy and a contact capture form.

ABOUT It’s easy to be inspired by a client that has such a strong direction and clear idea of what they want from their brand and website. People Purpose aim to bring people, purpose and technology together to create highly engaged strategies, strong teams and lasting positive legacies. The logo creation was inspired by the 3 key pillars to the business namely people, purpose and passion. The vibrant red and orange colours are perfectly balanced with a black and white backdrop. To follow this theme through to the website we focused on black and white imagery and made use of a simple continuous scroll layout. The end result is an impactful and informative site that will give prospective clients insight into the brand and people behind it.

ABOUT Sharing its name with the entrepôt of French champagne, Épernay restaurant has set out to create a modern, relaxed dining experience inspired by British and European homemade cuisine. To bring the Épernay experience to life we created a modern yet classic logo that is complimented through custom illustrations and a natural colour palette. To showcase the brand we designed and developed a simple website accented by bold photography with an emphasis on subtle animation and sleek design. The website through its simple user journey allows patrons to view menus, find out about events and allows them to easily book a table. We may not be able to get to France but the restaurant, brand and website certainly give us that French elegance and flair we all know and love!

ABOUT Cycle 360 is a lifestyle brand that is forward thinking and dynamic. To build a website that can be a home for their three key offerings namely cycling, fitness and café was no small task. To make the brand and website stand out from others in the local marketplace we pushed the boundaries both creatively and functionally. The finished product is a website that allows the user to immerse themselves in the world of Cycle 360 via hard hitting video content, imagery and bold typography. It is a place for Cycle 360 customers to stay up to date with the latest news & events, book classes, view menus and even purchase a bike. They say there is no perfect project, but this certainly came close and it allowed us to showcase our design and development skills in perfect balance.

ABOUT This project was fuelled by passion, creativity, strategy, trust and teamwork. We were tasked with creating a single web presence for King William’s College, The Buchan School and The Buchan Nursery. By creating a site that makes use of common layouts and individual themes we were able to give each school individuality without losing the overall consistency and user experience. The result is a website that showcases the heritage, ethos and spirit of the Schools and Nursery. A site that will serve to give prospective students a glimpse into an education with a difference.

ABOUT Eight Winds Limited was founded in 2020 as an international distributor of award-winning online igaming software to leading operators in Asia. Afundi worked with the Eight Winds team to create a modern and distinct brand that is inspired by a 13th Century Buddhist scroll and the many colours of the sky, water and land. The objective of the website was to educate prospective clients, capture leads and keep key stakeholders up to date with their latest products. The website is brought to life through animation, video content and abstract design elements.

ABOUT Creating a website that encompasses the energy, passion and presence of the acclaimed Roger Davies PT was an exciting challenge for our team. The creative concept centred around using powerful black and white photos against a dark background accented by the brand colour red. The result is a site that is simple to navigate, visually engaging and fully scalable. It makes use of strong and clear headings complimented by succent copy that makes exploring the critical communication elements easy and enjoyable.

ABOUT Afundi’s first software as service platform Xena, provides a slick and streamlined sign in process for visitors with all the convenience, security, and compliance benefits you would want from a modern application. From development of the software to creation of the brand and finally the launch of the contact capture website we focused on the user experience and creating a bold, bright and engaging aesthetic. All complimented by custom illustrations to showcase the features of the software.

“My desire was for a system to automate the reception function of visitor handling. As a technology company it frustrated me that guests would sign-in on a piece of paper. The Xena software, from Afundi, was the perfect fit. We now have a digital process to make reception aware of pending visitors, visitors can digitally sign in and I get a mobile notification that my guest has arrived in the building.”

ABOUT Creating a brand for such a ballsy CBD product is no mean feat. Taking inspiration from the home of motorcycling the Isle of Man we created a fictious character Grungy Gunner that personifies the brand. Think bold, fearless, adventurous and ballsy. To promote sales of the CBD balm we created a suite of marketing collateral including social media adverts, postcards, point of sale stands and packaging. This was all complimented by an eCommerce website that not only allows sales of the product but also gives prospective customers knowledge on the benefits and usage of Biker Balm.

MANX SOLIDARITY FUND Software

ABOUT The Manx Solidarity Fund aims to deliver much-needed funds and support to the causes and individuals on the Island who need it most during the Covid 19 pandemic. Afundi was tasked with designing and developing an application portal that would allow Isle of Man residents to apply for funding via a publicly accessible website using their mobile phones or desktop computers as well as allow for the MSF team to access the applications online via a secure and private portal. Leveraging from the Amazon Web Services cloud we were able to deliver a secure and scalable web application that allowed the MSF team to view, manage, and collaborate on thousands of applications with ease.

ABOUT The North Quay Festival is set to be a fun sunshine fuelled two days of live music, good food & drinks and family entertainment on the much loved North Quay, Douglas! Our remit was to create a new brand and marketing collateral including Facebook & Instagram adverts and cover imagery, posters, and branded merchandise to use at the festival. In response we created a playful nautical inspired brand that is flexible enough to be used across different applications and that will stand out in the local marketplace.
