YOUTH IN PHILANTHROPY Do you know kids who have done something good for our community? Want to see them recognized for their fundraising talents? The Youth in Philanthropy Committee is launching a new initiative to recognize young people that are making a difference by organizing and/or participating in a fundraiser. We are looking for young fundraisers (age 18 or younger) who have shown leadership, organizational abilities, originality and creativity and have raised funds within the Mahoning and Shenango Valleys that benefited a non-profit organization, locally, nationally or internationally. Groups of kids who worked together on a fundraising project can also be recognized. Recommended individuals and groups will receive an “Honorary AFP Mahoning-Shenango Chapter Fundraiser” certificate. They could even be featured in a future AFPMASH newsletter and be commended
for their efforts as guests at an upcoming AFPMASH program!
