GIMNAZJUM nr 25 - IES J.RODRIGO BOTET GDANSK
LEARNING TO BE A RESPONSIBLE CONSUMER: DECIDING OUR FUTURE!
To motivate students to learn foreign languages
Our partnership will develop a multidisciplinary and crosscultural project that would involve the areas of Geography and History, Economy, English, Valencian Language, Philosophy and Citizenship Education and IT. The main objective of our project is to analyse our habits and lifestyles in order to learn to be responsible consumers as well as to design ways to carry out a healthy life respecting the environment .
To understand and to analyze the current global problems such as our consumption habits, energy crisis and environmental problems
To learn to develop a critical thinking and to take decisions
To improve communication skills and the development of ICT tools
To share tasks and work in teams within the same school and with other partner schools
To have fun while learning and to enjoy working with people from another culture
To be aware of the school community and society in general and the need to cooperate to achieve a better future
To share educational and organizational criteria of the several European educational systems
In order to do this, we will carry out a geographical, agricultural and economic study of the environment of the two regions, Gdansk and Valencia. On the other hand, we will study the habits and lifestyles of teenagers and their consequences at the social, linguistic, economic, political, environmental and domestic areas. All this will be done in our own languages in order to promote and preserve our linguistic culture. The activities we have planned are intended to help us be aware that a small change in individual behavior can involve a great benefit for our society, thereby fostering a sense of responsibility and cooperation, participation and peaceful coexistence, typical of democratic societies
