the the22nd 22ndtucson tucsonwinter winterchamber chambermusic musicfestival festival

More new acquaintances await us at the 22nd Tucson Winter Chamber Music Festival. Two world premieres are scheduled, the first by Czech composer Jiri Gemrot — his fifth premiere through our Commissioning Program — and the other by Lowell Liebermann — his second composed for us. Other old friends include the Prazak Quartet in their ninth appearance, but also look for new faces among the world-class Festival musicians. As always, Festival director, Peter Rejto, will offer us a stimulating mix of familiar and unfamiliar, old and new, in the best tradition of the Arizona Friends of Chamber Music. And don’t forget our Festival Gala Dinner and Concert! Experience chamber music as it has been presented for centuries, in an intimate and elegant setting at the historic Arizona Inn.
