This amount will make 24 flap jacks. Put the butter or margarine, syrup and sugar into a saucepan and place over a low heat until completely melted. Stir in the oats and mix well. Spread evenly into a greased 20.5 x 30.5cm (8 x 12inch) swiss roll tin and smooth the top with a knife. Bake at 180c (350 F) Gas Mark 4 for 30 minutes. Leave in the tin for 5 minutes, then cut into 24 fingers. These are a handy little energy boosting snack you can take with you whilst jogging. Well my dears, its goodbye from me till we chat again.
