Responses: 375 in total (242: 2016, 191: 2014)

Do you find the opening hours convenient?

Responses: 346 answered 153 commented Students clearly would like the library to be open earlier and later during semester time.

We’ve been able to achieve longer opening hours on weekdays, from September 2018, opening from 8am to 10pm (it was 8.30am to 9pm). A big improvement and we’re keen to receive your feedback.

It’s pleasing to note that student satisfaction with the Library has risen since the last survey, as evidenced above and in achieving 100% in the recent NSS.


Do you have any further comments on Library & Learning Services, what else could we be doing to improve our service to you?

“Investing in the expansion of the library and its facilities. The study pods are great and there should be more around the college.” “Free access to journal articles from around the world?” “The puzzle corner is a great addition! And I enjoy the books about happiness.”

The Library & Learning Services Team are continuing to work through the actions from the survey, will respond in full, and make specific recommendations to relevant committees.
