Still fun even when it’s cold
SURROUNDED by picturesque natural bush land and spread over five acres, KidsTown features fully fenced play spaces, giant slides, train rides, mazes, café, and undercover areas for play, picnics and barbeques for this winter school holidays. Designed to entertain, stimulate, and educate children through play, children and parents alike will delight in the creative, imaginative and, most of all, safe play available to children of all ages and all abilities, providing fun even when it is cold. For the first week of the school holidays up until Sunday, July 3, the Fun Fair will still be operating from 12 noon till late for families to enjoy some next level rides and fun outdoors. Tickets can be purchased upon entry to the fair which is located next to the facility.

From macramé to paper folding, there is something on offer for everyone. To celebrate NAIDOC Week, July 3-10, there will be craft activities, colouring and more. A GV Libraries spokesperson said each pack includes four different crafts, including two NAIDOC Week activities, as well as templates and instructions. “These activities are great for all ages and can easily be made by younger children with some help from a grown up. Templates will also be available to download and print on our website,” they said.
“We also have a very special 'Meet up with the Mobile Library’ series of visits scheduled during the holidays.
