Super Bowl XLIX: where to watch, who to root for Story and photos by Sgt. 1st Class Alexander A. Burnett 21st Theater Sustainment Command Public Affairs On Sunday, the National Football League 2014 season will culminate in the epic battle between the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks. Televisions across the globe will tune in, and people will stay up to all hours of the night to enjoy this American treasure live. For those stationed in the KMC, only two questions come to mind: Who to root for? Where to watch the game? Service members and family members across the KMC have several options available to them when selecting a site to watch Super Bowl XLIX, scheduled to air at 12:35 a.m. Monday.
The Kazabra Club
Located close to Vogelweh Housing, this option
offers a close drive or cheap taxi ride for Super Bowl spectators. Doors open at 9 p.m. Sunday and all present can enjoy the final round of Battle of the DJs at 10 p.m. Cost of entry is $15 at the door. For information, call 0631-536-7261.
J.R. Rockers
Airmen and Soldiers can enjoy the Super Bowl at the Ramstein Enlisted Club. Doors open at 10 p.m. Sunday, and there will be games with cash prizes. For more information, call 06371-4055475.

Sustainment Command chimed in with their opinions. “I definitely think the Seattle Seahawks are going to win,” said Spc. Mason F. Liddile, 21st TSC Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 21st Special Troops Battalion armorer. “They have better defense and an overall better team. I promise my opinion has nothing to do with the recent ‘Deflategate’ debate.” Meanwhile, a noncommissioned officer from the 21st STB property book office offered a different opinion. “I am rooting for the Patriots, and they will win,” said Sgt. Lee C. Harris, 21st STB property book NCO. “They have Tom Brady, and that’s all they need.” Regardless of where service members watch the game or who they root for, safety should be considered at all times and everyone should have a plan to return home safely after the game ends.

Soccer clinic, practicum tournament
