High school track teams first, third

The Wiesbaden High School boys’ track team came in first in the DoDDS-Europe Track and Field Championships in Kaiserslautern on May 25, and the girls’ team came in third. Junior Anthony Little won the 100 and 200 meter dashes. Wiesbaden also came in first in the 100-meter relay and the sprint medley relay. Chloe Pridgen came in second in the long jump, and Reymoi Jno-Lewis came in second in the 110 hurdles.

American Sports Camp

The fifth annual American Sports Camp in Nordend 2013 will take place July 1519 at the Kleyerschule gym in Frankfurt. The camp is for boys and girls ages 8-17. The camp takes place daily from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and coaches will introduce participants to American football, baseball, lacrosse and basketball. The camp costs €105. The Wiesbaden Lady Eagles volleyball team came together at just the right moment to take second place in the Wiesbaden Invitational Volleyball Tournament.
