Easy to Maintain and Diagnose The maintenance of I/O devices usually requires technicians to have expertise incomputing, but with our modules, it isnot a problem anymore. Our Modbus mode address from Wolf Series is configured via two rotary switches which can be adjusted by a simple screw driver. The 3 LEDs on

the device show you its operation status by various combinations. Now, it has become much easier for on-site diagnosis.

Hot-Swap and Auto-Configuration Wolf Series allow users to hot-swap the devices without wiring each channel. A replaceable EEPROM is placed to back up the parameters and configuration of its I/O modules. After the original module is replaced by another, simply remove the EEPROM from the original device to the new one, all configurations will be restored shortly. If the EEPROM is wrongly placed in a different model, an error message will be indicated by the LED.

Suitable in Rugged Industrial Environment Electronic devices like I/O modules are easily affected by the noises around harsh industrial environment, and this interference would possibly cause failure or errors during operation. Our Wolf Series have a builtin system watchdog to make sure its function stays at the normal state when an error occurs. With configurable time intervals, the built-in system watchdog is designed to monitor the remote host such as PC, PAC, PLC. Once a halt or error from the remote host is detected and when the system watchdog timer elapsed, the module will reset itself to prevent the errors happen from operating.

Programmable Power-On and Safety Values Every output modules provide programmable power state and safe state to prevent the system from malfunction when the power is on or to avoid accidents when system failure occurs. The safe state is defined by a preset safety value. When the system watchdog detects a network or communication error, the module will output the preset safety value to place the actuator into a safe state to avoid accidents or to mitigate their consequential damages.

Wide Power Input Range from +10 to+60VDC Wolf Series modules support +24VDC unregulated industrial power. For common sites with regular power input of 12V, 36V, 48V, etc., Wolf Series modules can also work. As far as the power supply ripple peak should not exceed 5V, and its instantaneous voltage is within the supported power range, the module can work normally.

Isolation Protection Wolf Series modules provide isolation protection on power, communication and I/Os, and the protection voltage can reach 3000VDC. This isolation design can prevent the internal logic chip from being damaged by noise, and further to avoid damage to the module. The choice of Advanio modules can

Advanced Features of DI/O Modules Advanced Features of DI/O Modules Apart from basic functions, the input of Wolf Series DI/O modules can also be set to the status as “normal” or “inverted”. This special feature helps our modules to function without logic errors when they are applied to another project with a different setting.

D/I Latch Function All D/I channel provides a latch function to hold the internal register from high/low state of the module. In normal conditions, the main controller uses polling process to read the status of all D/I. As RS-485 is a low-speed fieldbus and the polling process takes time, it is possible to miss a very instant signal. With the D/I latch function, even a very fast (> = 5ms) signal can be caught.

Overvoltage Protection and Isolation between Channels Wolf Series universal A/I modules provide overvoltage protection to a higher limit of 240V. When the input voltage is superposed by an interference or a voltage spike, an AC cord is wrongly connected to the module, or even when the site is just poorly grounded, our design prevents the module from being damaged and ensures that it can keep operating.

Overvoltage Protection

Offline or Disconnection Alarm Wolf Series modules provide disconnection detection for sensors like transmitters, secondary instruments and temperature sensors, etc. The module are able to detect the disconnection status from all these sensors once they are not functioning to ensure that no accident like fire or explosion occurs due to wrong the wrong messages.

Introduction The G-M1A021 is a cost-effective module for transfer serial data over USB. It allows you to connect your serial devices to systems using a USB interface. Connecting the G-M1A021 to a PC, you get one extra high-speed RS-232/422/485 ports. The G-M1A021 module derives the power from the USB port and doesnâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;t need any power adapter. It also features a high-speed 115.2 Kb/s transmission rate, and supports various O.S. independent RS-232/422/485 Ports.
