Convenience. Innovation. Comfort. The ultimate boutique hotel experience lands itself smack dab in the middle of the world-renown Silicon Valley. For a creative concept, Hotel Beta is based off the designs of the fashion house Givenchy. Endless pattern and color imagery is captured within the minds of Josef Albers, David Hicks and Vivienne Westwood. A playful artistry of scale, contrast and pattern demonstrate the endless bounty of using simple principles of design to create a striking visual. Not only does this collection establish these principles, but provides a heavy juxtaposition between elegance and quirk and bold and subtle. Hotel Beta will showcase a powerful, sophisticated blend of pattern to create something that is completely unique to the visitors of this new hotel experienCE.

ADRIE COSTANA DESIGNS A HISTORIC PIED A TERRE IN THE HIP PARIS NEIGHBORHOOD OF LES HALLES FOR AN UPDATED ENTERTAINMENT SPACE WITH A BOLD ECLECTIC FLAIR FOR FASHION DESIGNER MARC JACOBS

TRINITY CHAIR A teddy bear chair made for sitting back with a great novel. Coup D’Etat.

After becoming one of the most sought-after fashion designers of his time, Marc Jacobs wanted a space that told a story of his immovable stance in the fashion world. “In the beginning, the problem wasn‘t the space itself, but designing for such a prominent figure. The room was a series of balances. Although dramatic, there is an underlining of comfort throughout the space,” Costanza states. “From romantic textures and a range of history, the space is truly a story within itself.” Influenced by the punk grunge age of Vivienne Westwood and the beginning of Jacobs’ fashion empire, the patterns, textures and colors chosen make a bold statement. Costanza was up for the challenge. Her masculine palette of moody blacks, electric blues and red hues focuses attention to the center of the room,
