B/ urban modern bike Living the cities through sustenaibility It was proposed to develop a bicycle according to the results thrown by the market study. For the beginning of the project, we had to make a benchmarking to understand the lifestyle of a gruop of people between 20 and 35 years old, and then to develope proposals that acording to the appareance of the bike, would increase the use of it as a daily way of transportation. In order to make a useful bike for the big cities, we decided to design pieces for storage, such as a bag that can be installed on the bike and an expansible bike grill so the area for personal things could increase acording to the user’s needs.

BOTANICAL EXPLORATION / paper clay Handmade sculpture This pottery project was born through the exploration of different techniques in ceramics. Due to the many possibilities, the objective was to create very complex forms made by hand without using any mold. Since the regular clay doesn’t have a very strong structure for this kind of forms, paper clay came up as a very helpful way to make every plant, piece by piece. In this case, mixing water, clay and toilet paper made it possible to shape every piece one by one. These kind of pieces needed a doble bake, one to get the solid part and the second one to burn the enamels and get the different colors.

GENOMA DEL ROBO / security manual Editorial design Estudio Genoma del Robo was an editorial Project developed at Brandcelona for a costumer who needed to print part of his investigation. Since the brand was already made, the project was to create an editorial piece using the brand’s corporate colors and a pretty simple diagramation so the study could keep its technical look, not without applying graphic elements so the whole editorial piece could be enjoyable to read.

PILAR LOZANO / línea Ibérica Honest haircare products Pilar Lozano is an already existent brand designed at Brandcelona, focused on the haircare. In this project, the premise was to create it’s respective category. On this point, five categories were designed, with a very local concept, taking as a referent, different places of Spain that are very representatives. The icons were made as an abstraction of every place and the color palette chosen is very neutral to keep the simplicity of the brand and to focus in the natural caracteristics of each product

PRADO / A neighborhood rehab How to protect patrimony Prado is a patrimonial neighborhood in MedellĂn, Colombia, famous for its reuplican houses as it used to be the rich area of the city. Nowadays, has lost its identity since is no longer a cultural place for the city. So in order to rescue the importance of the neighborhood, Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana made a contest to design a brand so the city hall could start promoting the place through cultural, educational and gastronomic events.

30

In this case, we took a colorful palette for the design, to give it force to the brand, and then with every category we design a symbol according to every area and made different applications to show the client how it would look. Designers: - Manuela Salgado - Adriana Ranaldi
