What Is the Interact Club?

It is a service-oriented club where students develop leadership skills while embracing the motto of ‘Service above Self.” Students build relationships with themselves, one another, and community members. WHHS Interact is sponsored by Rotary Club of Winter Haven. We are dedicated to serving our school, and community.

How did the Interact Club Get Started?

Rotary is a global network that includes over 1 million people across the entire world in all, there are currently more than 35,000 total clubs throughout the world that worked together to support education and literacy, promote peace, fight sickness, and make a lasting and positive impact on the world Interact Club is a branch of Rotary Youth Programs, which provide no shortage of fun and exciting ways for kids to spend their outof-class time

What Kind of Activities Are The Member of Your Organization Involved IN?

This is a student led club where students brainstorm and create projects to help others Their projects support their school, community, and the world Some of the projects include beautifying Winter Haven High School Campus, feeding the hungry, providing school supplies to students in another country, and partnering with local charitable organizations providing volunteers and supplies

This year as their international project, Interact is providing sustainable feminine products for girls locally in Winter Haven and internationally in Belize.
