OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENT IN:

INTEGRATION AND COLLABORATION WINNERS (DRAW) | THE ACT CENTRE AND ABORIGINAL COMMUNITY CONNECT The ACT Centre and Aboriginal Community Connect have partnered to provide a comprehensive, seamless walk-in service for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community members experiencing mental health issues and/or drug and alcohol dependency. Providing access to immediate mental health and drug and alcohol support in a holistic ‘one stop shop’ model. Community members can access psychological assessment and therapy, case management, housing support, emergency food relief and ongoing group therapies. It also offers support for the entire family, including children and youth.

WINNERS (DRAW) | HEADSPACE EDINBURGH NORTH (LEAD AGENCY SONDER)

The headspace Employment Support program integrates vocational support for young people aged 12-25 within the mental health service at headspace Edinburgh North. Employment specialists provide individual support and work alongside youth workers and mental health clinicians to ensure coordinated support suited to each young person’s need. The program partners with Orygen, the National Centre of Excellence in Youth Mental Health, IPS Works and headspace National to draw on their expertise in delivering the model.
