ADDERBURY COMMUNITY FOOD MARKET THURSDAY 13 APRIL 6.00 PM TO 8.00 PM The Institute, The Green, Adderbury OX17 3NE. Adderbury’s own not-for-profit food market is a volunteer run event with the aim of bringing a wide selection of local food to the village. There’s vegetables, meat, breads, cakes, chutneys, yoghurt, locally distilled gin, fresh ground coffee, and more. At every market a sumptuous hot meal is available (with a vegetarian option) together with a licensed bar selling wine, beer and soft drinks. So why not come along to

Proceeds from the market are given back to the local community by way of grants. In the last few months’ grants have been made to Adderbury Guides, Christopher Rawlins School, Lucy Plackett Activity Centre, and Adderbury Party in the Park. KATHARINE HOUSE HOSPICE At the April market, we will have a stall for Katharine House Hospice giving details of their forthcoming events and work. The market will be giving £1 to the hospice for every customer who comes along to the April market. • £1 can provide tea and biscuits for a day for a hospice patient. • £2 pays for art supplies for a therapeutic art session. • £5 provides a hearty homemade meal from the hospice kitchen.
