The Brief Your task is to produce an identity for Leeds Loves Creativity, which ties in with the rest of the Leeds Loves brand but is inherently unique.

Background This brief was set by Marketing Leeds. The Leeds Loves Creativity mark would work in the same way as previous identities for Leeds Loves Food & Leeds Loves Shopping.

Mandatory Requirements

How can you represent creativity through a mark or symbol that ties in with the rest of the brand?

You must show your identity working across banner resolutions in context and present your chosen colour palette that suits the brand but is inherently different from the present brand colours.

How does brief tie in with your statement of intent, and will it make your portfolio? Target Audience


Investors and clients of Marketing Leeds. This will be used to advertisements for creative projects so it has to be flexible and work across any artwork.

A2 presentation boards that effectively communicate the brief.

Tone of Voice

Studio Deadline

The tone of voice has to be playful due to the subject matter. Creativity has to be represented as fluid and spontaneous.
