ENTRY STRUCTURE FOR WEB VERSION OF THE OXFORD ENGLISH-URDU DICTIONARY

The structure of the dictionary entry for the web-version of Oxford English-Urdu dictionary has been designed to follow the original entry in the printed version of the dictionary as close as possible. There are a few changes also like font variation and order of placement of the individual subdivisions of the Parts of speech but overall maximum information has been incorporated to replicate the original printed version. The diagram on the next page would help the end-user to understand a typical entry structure with its basic navigation controls and hyperlinks.
