Sampling the Market The need is detected

•2008 After several attempts to launch the business, on July of 2008 after a meeting at a cafÊ place in Hermosillo, Sonora between the founder members, it was decided to sample the market, in order to capture and identify the real need. To do this we made a campaign in press and via emails with contacts in industrial Companies from Hermosillo, Nogales, Guaymas and Empalme. Thereby detecting the need for practitioners who already were working to have their own scope and training systems in industrial engineering techniques, as well as covering aspects in areas of Quality, Manufacturing and general aspects of professional development industrial engineers or professionals in the industry. Motivated by this need captured, the founder members of the Association decided to launch as part of its first activities a Green Belt Certification, tool that combines the knowledge of two great tools that used today such as Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma as a tool for improving and maximizing resources in companies. It was an excellent response due to the amount of people seeing our advertising in major newspapers and Internet sites, requested information.
