Do you have a heart for young people? Do you want to make an impact in your community? Be a mentor! There are young people in Polk County anxiously waiting for an adult who is willing to share 2-4 hours/week, building a one-on-one relationship. Mentoring doesn’t take special skill. It takes an adult who is willing to welcome a young person into their world and share life experience with them. Kinship mentors come in all ages, all personalities, all imperfections. Kinship matches play games, eat dinner, go fishing, run errands, go for walks, enjoy woodworking, bake and so much more. If you would like to learn more about being a mentor, please call the Kinship office today at 715-4053900 or visit Kinship’s website at
